Original bronze sculpture by David McFall, famed Scottish sculptor (1919-1988) created in 1973. Numbered 3/8 (although we believe only 3 or 4 were cast), signed "McFall", and with the foundry mark of "Fiorini & Carney Founders London". In excellent original condition. Original green patina--although much more muted in person than in the photos. Roughly 11 1/2" (width) by 7 1/4" (depth) by 9" (height). Please ask for additional photos if needed. Late 19th century alabaster statue of a lovely maiden. With her arms outstretched she studying a small bump on her finger. Probably Italian, condition is very good with some minor old dings expected with age, but most notable is a large chip on the back side of the base (see last photo). The price has been adjusted accordingly. Having a wonderful patina that only comes with time, this beauty measures about 18 inches high.
