Lithograph print, circa 1970, "Birds of Peace", signed at lower right by its creator, the noted Jewish-American artist Chaim Gross (1904-1991), and numbered at lower left margin 135/150. The print, 15" by 11 3/4" inside the mat, 23" by 19" as framed, is in excellent condition; evidently it was framed and presented in Chicago in 1974 to a gentleman presented with the Humanitarian Award by The American Jewish Committee...

Joseph Addison (1 May 1672 – 17 June 1719) was an English essayist, poet, playwright and politician. He was the eldest son of The Reverend Lancelot Addison. A lithograph print of a typical northern New Mexican adobe house of the Santa Fe and Taos region, signed in the plate at lower center with what appears as "J Hill" and dated nearby 48. The black and white image measures 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" inside the mat, 15" by 17 1/2" in simple black wood strip frame. Not examined out of frame but appears very clean and fresh. I have not been able to locate a listed artist by this name that would correspond to this work.

A very interesting and scarce double-page color lithograph print by the famous Spanish artist, JOAN MIRO (1893-1983), published in 1961 in "Derriere Le Miroir", measurements inside the mat 14 1/2" x 21", 21" by 27" as framed in metal frame. The perfect, classic addition to your contemporary interior. Condition seems to be very good overall, I note just a little browning, probably from tape residue showing from the reverse side, at very top and even less at very bottom...
