This is an original hand-colored, 19th century lithograph print by the iconic American ornithologist and naturalist artist JOHN J. AUDUBON (1785-1851), from the nineteenth century series in the small octavo size. Inside the present mat, dimensions are 9 1/4" by 6" inside the innermost mat (16 1/2" by 13" as framed). Etching of children in a landscape, 8 1/4" by 10 3/4" inside the present mat (the full sheet 14 1/2" by 17"), not signed but printed information on mat provides artist name, a possible title "Hagyateki Anyaga" and possible edition ("5/50").
