An antique 19th century bronze relief sculpture by Claude Bouvet (1755 - 1813) depicts Napoleon Bonaparte, in a standing pose presenting the Cross of the Legion of Honor at the Camp de Boulogne.

Napoleon is depicted in his favorite uniform as Colonel of Chasseurs Cheval de la Garde Imperial, complete with epaulets, the Cross of the Legion of Honour on his chest, and a sword at his side...

Late 19th century alabaster statue of a lovely maiden. With her arms outstretched she studying a small bump on her finger. Probably Italian, condition is very good with some minor old dings expected with age, but most notable is a large chip on the back side of the base (see last photo). The price has been adjusted accordingly. Having a wonderful patina that only comes with time, this beauty measures about 18 inches high.

Original unique sculpture in clay or terra cotta, 11 1/2" by 6" by 6", mounted on a black 3" high base, signed on the sculpture "E. BARR", not dated but likely circa 1960's. I cannot to date find information on the artist but he/she was certainly a talent who was familiar with modern giants like Henry Moore, Jacques Lipchitz, Alexander Archipenko and others who worked in this manner, simplifying and glorifying the human form...

The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition...
