Berthe Morisot 1841-1895 French This is a very fine original drypoint etching by French Impressionist Berthe Morisot. This etching created and printed in 1889 is the second state of two. Printed on wove type paper this is a fine impression prior to the later impressions where the cancellation holes were filled. The image measures 7 1/2X5 1/2 inches. Print, after the original Maurits Cornelius Escher print "The Fall of Man" (1927), signed and numbered in pencil at lower left 25/100, but not by the artist himself; this is a work after the artist, likely a posthumous printing of the 1970's or later. The sheet measures 11 3/8" by 9 1/4" (28.9 cm. by 23.5 cm.), versus the somewhat larger 14 3/4" by 10 7/8" (37.5 cm. by 27.6 cm.) measurements of the authentic print. I contacted the M.C...

A colorful original work, NOT A PRINT, the subject four palms at the beach, signed at lower left margin in pencil by noted California contemporary artist SALLY HUSS (1940-). The work, art itself 15" by 24" and 23" by 32 1/2" as framed, is typical of the artist's output----always colorful in the extreme, and whimsical, the subjects landscape, florals, or fantasy. Her designs are often available as prints or on merchandise, but original works are more scarce. Condition is excellent.

Lorenzo Padilla Diaz Cuban - French Artist well listed artist from Cuba living in Montparnasse France. A oil on canvas of a jolly man smoking wearing a hat signed and dated 69 ll and inscription on back. Seems to be the original frame. Size sight approx 19.5" by 15.5" frame 24" by 22" . A beautiful and very rare Pair Chinese Qing Dynasty Marriage Lanterns In Eggshell Porcelain “100 Boys”. The lanterns with thickly potted porcelain stands of baluster form and painted with boys playing in a landscape above the ever foooted painted with a ruyi head border containing flowering prunus on stylized grey clouds. Each measuring approximately 12.75” on their stands

Work 73-12A is a firm and strong dragon not fierce not wimpy. The central kanji is offset by a small yellow Maki sun at the top left and a red splash on the right. They counterbalance each other and give color and verve to the whole print.

Oil on canvas, 40 1/2" by 32", in thin wood frame, signed at lower right and dated "57" by important twentieth century German artist ERNST FRITSCH (1892-1965), an artist mentioned in the same sentences as Bruno Krauskopf, Dix, Grosz, and other German art world giants of the twenties. Fritsch was born in Berlin and died there, and in between made a permanent mark on the art scene. He had joined the Berlin Secession in 1919, after having served in World War I...
