Nicely executed little watercolor of a woman in her nineteenth century finery, 11" by 7 3/4" as newly framed behind quality Tru Vue glass, unsigned. Her dress looks like circa 1860 but I do not know for sure that this would have been painted then. It would make for a pleasing addition to a woman's bedroom or sitting area.

A striking black and white lithograph, 10 1/2" by 16 1/2" inside the mat, 14 3/4" by 20 3/4" simply framed, the subject matter a landscape with trees and structures, the imagery artistically distorted in a Cubist fractured style, pencil signed at upper left "Wheelock" by the artist and dated there '29. A very finely crafted watercolor painting of an 18th century dandy in an elegant aristocratic interior, " by " (" by " framed), dedicated "Yours Sincerely" at lower right, and signed rather illegibly below that. The work's quality means the artist must be listed but try as I might, I cannot decipher the name. More than likely the work is circa 1890. Condition is excellent. I opened the old backing in hopes of finding more information or writing but there was none to be found...
