A wonderful pair of Yves Saint Laurent long drop earrings. They are made of black galalith with patinated brass studs. The slightly indented bow and leaves are decorated with gilt paint. The earrings are 4 1/4" (11.1cm) long and are 7/8" (2.8cm) at the widest point. They have tight clip-earring backs and are incised YSL on the back of the larger oval. The brass could be polished if you choose, but we like the slight sign of age...

Fabulous 1980s signed Dominique Aurientis wood bangle with heavy goldtone metal appliques in the form of grapes and grape leaves. Marked DOMINIQUE AURIENTIS PARIS. Very weighty and substantial. Patrice's giraffe has personality! And, he and his 17" necklace are made of wonderful materials: apple turquoise, Bavarian glass, red coral, Mojave green turquoise and 24K gold plate on brass. Pendant is 1 1/2" by 2 1/4" and is chunky. Note the lovely design on the back of the pendant. Earrings are 1" in diameter and are Bavarian glass and Mohave green turquoise with 24K gold plated clips.

We just found out that this buckle was designed by Denez for the Autumn/Winter 1970 Yves Saint Laurent season. We found examples from the same series in the book, "Yves Saint Laurent Accessories," by Patrick Mauries. The buckle measures 4 x 5" (10.5 x 12.5 cm). It is made to hold a 2" (5.5 cm) wide belt and has it s original attachment piece. Art Nouveau in style with bronze, copper and gilt tones, it reminds me of some of the metro stations in Paris...

Very dramatic 1980s goldtone metal mounted wood necklace with a large detailed dimensional head of a leopard, hanging from a heavy double strand of dark red silk cord. A 14k white gold aquamarine, topaz and diamonds ring from the 1990s. This ornate and emphatic size 7-1/4 ring features a pear cut 2.2 carat (calculated) blue aquamarine stone flanked with two smaller pear cut amber coloured topaz stones with 12 flanking light greenish white topaz and 14 single point diamond stones. The setting measures 13/16 x 1/2", this ring weighs 5.8 grams and it is stamped 14K YJ...

Massive and spectacular, this YSL linked bracelet has a slightly industrial feel. It is 8" (20.6 cm) long, not including the tongue, and 1 1/8" (3.2 cm) wide. The charcoal gray metal half-circle links are 7/16" (2.3 cm) high and are each 7/8" (2.6 cm) long. They border the (probably) rosewood center links that are approximately 5/8" (2 cm) high by a hair under 1" (2.8 cm) long. It is marked YSL Made In France on the back of the clasp ...

This is a substantial Valentino lucite & gilt metal necklace. It measures 19 3/4" (50.5cm) long from the hook to the last ring in the chain. Each of the orange lucite pieces are 1 3/8" ((4cm) long.. They measure a hair more than 1" (3cm) across the top and 1 5/8" (4.5cm) at the bottom. They are about 1/4" (.6cm) thick. The gilt metal spacers are separated from each lucite piece by a gold bead.. IFrom around 1985, it looks to be in unworn condition...

Typical of Patrice's fine design, always rich in the use of semi-precious stones, this pendant necklace and earrings is a beautiful example of her work. In this set she uses serpentine jade, Chinese turquoise, tiger iron jasper, hsiu jade, vintage German glass and brass.
