Chunks of Turquoise, Quartz and what looks like Amethyst are caged with a continuous piece of silver wire. The bracelet looks different every way you hold it, so I took several pictures in different lights. Sold only at the Barney's New Yok stores...

Gorgeous hand made necklace, possibly a studio piece, with clusters of briolette cut colorless rock crystal drops, and large black onyx beads, with hematite drops and beads, and sterling silver toggle clasp, strung on fine wire. Maya's purses are most unique, and this one is especially so. The elegantly hand carved peacock has "feathers" that wrap completely around the purse. Carved flowering branches have been added to give an oriental look. As with all Maya purses, her cartouche is evident on the back of the purse.6 1/2" wide, 5" high, 2 1/2" front to back. Antiqued metal chain and crystals is 45" long.

The bottle consists of wax-cast black glass resembling stone, fused with polished yellow and clear glass with internal swirling white details. The bottle is etched near the base (as shown) with the artist's signature, date (1988), and product number, and is 10" wide, 4¾" tall, and 2 ¼" tapering to ¼" deep...

This ebullient hand carved Oaxacan Alebrije model of an armadillo will give delight for years to come. Its artist made use of traditional Mexican bright colors to make this armadillo pop. Purple and turquoise dominate but yellows and reds complete the ensemble. Signed Rocio R on the belly.

Reminiscent of some Scandinavian pieces from the 1960s, this more modern version of the cattail pin features two freshwater pearls. The stems are gold-filled wires flattened at the top to secure the pearls. The back shows an embossed maker’s mark of a tree in a circle; there is an incised copyright mark with the date 1993 and other hand-markings that include an ST, possibly for sterling (the leaves test as sterling). It measures 3 1/8 inches long by 5/8 inch wide.
