Condition: Excellent, with no chips, hairlines or repairs and only minor scuffing to the bottom.

Formed as logs entwined with vines and flowers, these cuff links have a Victorian sensibility, but bear the Krakow assay mark for .800 silver, dated 1986-present. There is an unidentified maker’s mark of ZL. The logs are hollow. The marks have been struck on the smaller anchor bars. The longer sides measure about 1 ¼ inches long and about ¼ inch in diameter. Weight: 6.2 grams total

Large cotton furoshiki with poem with shibori which is the first half of the famous poem from Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves). The original meaning is "It seems spring has gone and summer has come as white clothings are hung to dry in the Mt. Amano-Kaguyama". In excellent condition but it has some indigo color faded part. A porcelain two handled bowl with applied porcelain flowers and a fruit finial with bold floral decoration combined with gilding. Though the form is likely to be derived from early Meissen, the decoration is much later in tone. Unmarked though there are indications that there may have been a mark on the bottom at one time. 4 ¼ inches (11 cm) tall, 6 ½ inches (16.5 cm) across the handles.
