An early Kirk Repousse sterling berry spoon. This late 19th century sterling silver 8-7/8" berry spoon in the Repousse pattern. Stamped only STERLING with a B monogram, this spoon is most likely by Kirk who issued a flatware set in this pattern. It weighs 69.2 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Own the art that inspired Picasso and so many other 20th century artists........the sculpture originating in Africa. This is a later 20th century hand-made piece. Note the painted eyebrow area, the drilled rows of holes, and the interesting surface and color. I don't know the area of the continent from which this came but I suppose a specialist collector could tell immediately. It's a very interesting and decorative piece for the home. Size is approximately 12" by 6 1/2" by 3".

A sterling silver cigarette or cheroot holder with case circa 1910. The 1-3/4" holder has an amber or celluloid mouthpiece and fine hand engraving; the hand-engraved 2" fob style case features a loop for hanging from a watch or neck chain and it is stamped STERLING SILVER. This item is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a small loss to the holder's silver, some darkening of the amber from use, and a dent on the case...

Scarce Coffee Tin from Sweden, again with nice caricature double sided, this genre is not something the Swedish are known for, measures approx 4.5" in diameter and 6.5" Tall.

Excellent vintage Halloween papier-mache party noisemaker in the form of a banana. These are more often found in the shape of a carrot. Unmarked, but definitely German, circa 1925. It has the original 10-cent price marked in pencil. Excellent working condition; all original. 7-1/2" long.

A Victorian Aesthetic brass dress hem lifter circa 1880. This unusual Victorian design object was made to hold up the hem of a lady's dress. It sounds a little risque, but sometimes you preferred those long skirts not to be near water or mud, as is only sensible. In the Aesthetic design popular at the time (and swans certainly were popular), this solid brass clothing accessory clamps the bottom of the lady's dress with the tongs, which are locked in place by the sliding shield-shaped housing...

This is a really pretty 6 1/2 inches high Party Goer Virginia Number 1 Jug or Pitcher made by Blue Ridge. The Pitcher is shown on Page 70 of the Frances and John Ruffin Blue Ridge China Today book. A set of three vintage bisque candy containers in the form of a basket and a black cat with a Halloween orange neck ribbon. These would have been filled with small candies and given as party favors. The bottoms are stamped "Japan."

Full sheet of unusually large vintage German diecut Santas carrying toys. Two of the Santas wear the harder to find blue robe. The colors are gorgeous and this sheet would look terrific framed. Each Santa Claus measures 9-1/4" tall--an unusually large size.

Twelve pairs of Japanese-made roller caps for Japanese Hanging scrolls, 9 Bu (9分about 2.73 mm) in diameter. Japanese scroll roller ends follow the old measuring system- shakkanhō (尺貫法). These fit 9 Bu size- please measure diameter of the roller bar with calipers. A rare hand signature on a photo card featuring English diminutive turn of the century era dance hall performer DAISY DORMER (1883-1947). In ink, she wrote "Yours Laughingly/Daisy Dormer". Prior to 1901 the slight, dark-haired performer was known as "Dainty Daisy Dimple". She had a pantomime career and performed in one silent movie, "Potted Pantomimes", with Lillian Russell. Later, in 1935, she performed in one talking picture, "City of Beautiful Nonsense"...

A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom.
