A rare incense container inscribed by Zen monk Murakami Jikai 村上慈海(1902 – 1987), potted by Mashimizu Zōroku IV 四代真清水蔵六(b.1933). Made in 1987 as a commemorative piece of a Grand Chakin – a tea gathering that took place at Kinkaku-ji in 1980, with heads of 5 major tea schools present. Japanese Bamboo Ikebana Flower arrangement Hanging Wall Vase, 12" high, 3 1/4" wide-bottom, 3 1/8" high and 7/8" diameter-vase only, the condition is good.

This very well carved two-tone hard stone snuff bottle is a 1980's product. It depicts an old sage chatting with a young man under a pine tree. It is 3" high, 2" wide and 1 3/8" thick with a red carnelian and silver rim cap. It is in great condition.

Enamelled copper snuff bottle. Decor of flying cranes in a reserve on a yellow background. The stopper is in cast bronze and chiselled with care. The prestigious mark of the emperor kien long is affixed under the base but, unfortunately, it is apocryphal. The rod and the teaspoon are made of metal. I think it's a Chinese production of the 20th century. Probably from the end. Height about 7cm. A chip on the foot (see photo) which does not harm the aesthetics of the object.

DESCRIPTION: A fine hand stamped sterling sunburst design pendant with a large, high quality Cerillos mine turquoise stone set in shadowbox style. Reverse is stamped, “E. Bilagody, Sterling.” A Navajo silver artist, Ernest Bilagody is based in Gallup, NM. Late 1900s, excellent condition. DIMENSIONS: 2-1/4" x 1-5/8"
