Condition; photo in good condition, though the contrast could be a little stronger. Mount discolored, some foxing and soiled along some edges.

This vintage stanhope piece is a very rare find. It shows 6 historical landmarks of Northern Ireland, through the tiny peeper glass in the middle of its well-known, wild boar. The pictures and views, within the charm / pendant display 'A Memory of BALLYCASTLE:' GOLF LINKS, MURLOUGH BAY, ROPE BRIDGE CARRICK-a-REDE, MARINE ROAD and FAIR HEAD. The views great and clear. This stanhope measures 5/8" x 1/2" x 3/8" tall. It is in excellent condition.
An excellent pictorial reference book covering the Koger Collection which features Chinese wares spanning the Neolithic Period through the Qing Dynasty. There are about 155 color photos with editorial by John Ayers. The photos here are really quite excellent. In our candid opinion, it's not enough of a reason to purchase an antique merely for the sake of a free book, but any client already seriously contemplating a purchase can enjoy this as a free extra.
