Scarce antique 18th-century posthumous medal struck in 1733 from solid silver to commemorate the death of Augustus II the Strong in 1733. Made by the medalist Georg Wilhelm Vestner (1677-1740).

An interesting selection of sea-life in the early period, from c. Devonian period 400 mio. years ago or somewhat later, all now of stone and stable.

Large Devonian trilobit, 6,6 cm. and 55.38 grams! An even larger snail like creature in a beautiful mother of pearlish house, measuring 6,3 vm. wide and 5,3 cm tall. Mounted on a lucite base, c. 130 grams! A large fragmentary snail-house (59,67 grams), and three good looking smaller snails as a well as a clamp / muzzle. Interesting lot...

A nice set of three lovely laquered and stamped silver bar coins, Thailand, c. 16th.-17th. cent. and a Laotian 'Canoe' money bar in silver-bronze, c. 1707-1889 AD.

The Laos Canoe money weighs 113.5 grams and the three Thai silver coins, 58.48 gr., 49,34 gr. and 65.31 gr., so it's probably same issue but different dating, in the 16th.-17th. century.
