These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. German Rudolstadt porcelain Potpourri Jar with inner top with holes under the top cover, 7 1/4" high, 5 1/2" wide, made by "New York & Rudolstadt Pottery" before 1920 with large pink and baby blue transfer floral design highlighted in brilliant gold on semi dull finish glaze, gold finish is worn on the round knob, and swirling wave pattern on the body. Glaze hairline across the top cover but did not go down all the way.
