This mid 20th century Chinese carved ivory doctor's lady is 15" long, 3" high and 2" thick. The fitted hard wood base is 16 1/8" long, 1 1/4" high and 3" wide. Her left hand is holding a flower and is resting on the side of her body. Her right hand is held behind her head. She wears loose bracelets on both wrists and “lotus” shoes on her feet. There is a dark line (the center of the tusk) running along the back of her left leg...
