Striking Showa Period c.1930 negoro lacquered tray. Negoro lacquering techniques were developed in the Edo Period at Negoro Temple in Wakayama Pref. putting on layers of black lacquer then covering with red lacquer and burnishing until the black rubbed through. The motif are old coins in raised relief of lacquer. Ask for shipping quote. L:14" x W:9".
Vintage Japanese box and tray set, made of black lacquered wood with shell inlay in classic Art Deco design of stylized phoenixes, good condition, Showa Period (circa 1933). Tray is 11 1/2" long x 7 3/4" wide. Box is 5" wide by 4" wide.
A lovely bowl covered with abstract flower designs by Kawai Kanjiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hanawan. It is 12 cm (4-3/4 inches) diameter, 11.5 cm tall and in excellent condition.

A king-sized cotton duvet cover from Nepal, measuring 111 x 74½" inches (43.7 x 29.3 cm) in purple, red and green. The viúvavajra ("crossed vajra") and chevron motifs are depicted in wool thread in chain stitch. Condition: Excellent. The vajra (meaning diamond or thunderbolt) is believed to represent firmness of spirit and spiritual power and is displayed in the national emblem of Bhutan.

Middle 20th century Chinese carved rose quartz statue depicting a lady holding a sword in one hand and a branch of flowers in the other. Good color and condition. H: 12 ¼ inches, W: 5 ½ inches
This mask represents a tiger, note a very fine work of sculpture with the gouge, the deep carvings are highlighted with a white coloring. Very hard wood, the inside shows the natural patina of oxidized wood over time. Very good age likelu first part of the 20th or even earlier. H 21 cm, width 20 cm.

Japanese Sliding Door framed by Kiri Wood and Bamboo, 36 1/2" high, 1 1/4" thick, nice old warm Kiri, Reed and Bamboo framed Sliding Door, the condition is good.
Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.
