20 grams white to light soft sage with touches of light tan yellowish russet on some edges.
Ice cold to touch, has a good gloss and a nice "clink" when clinked against an old nephrite carving.

This very well molded Japanese Kutani style sleeping cat is a mid 20th century product. This sleepy cat has a white coat with gold streaks and wears an orange bow on its neck. It is 10 ½” long, 6 ¼” wide and 4” high. It is in great condition.

Measuring 13.5 cm when closed, 30.5 cm when fully elongated, this charming beaded purse from Afghanistan was made by Pashtuns and is in excellent condition given its age (mid 20th century). Blue and white seed beads surround the edges, protecting the wearer from evil. The stitching technique is characteristic of Pashtun embroidery, with intricate ladder stitch and basma stitch, where the silk thread is taken parallel with the metallic thread, fastening it down at regular intervals...

This textile from central Afghanistan was made by Hazara women and depicts the severed hands and shrine of Hazrat Abbas, the half-brother of Hussein ibn Ali, during the battle of Kerbala in Iraq. A Chinese couplet scroll in calligraphy excerpting from a work composed by the noted literati scholar, Su Dongpo from the Song Dynasty. Work contains the signature and seal of Zheng Xiaoxu (1860-1938).The two line couplet expresses how as there are different ways to point out the errors in an embroidered robe, or a crane hesitating to fly has yet to mature into an immortal.
