This 20th century ivory netsuke is 2 inches long. It depicts a gecko climbing on a gourd. It is signed, but not readable. It is in good condition.
This well carved stone laughing Buddha is 3 ¼” high (with wood base is 5” high), 4 ¾” wide and 2” in depth. It depicts a laughing Buddha (Budai in Chinese; Hotei in Japanese) comfortably leaning on his ever present cloth sack. His left hand holds a ruyi scepter; his right hand holds a gold nugget. A young boy is resting on the Buddha’s right knee. Aside from natural blemishes on the back of the statue and two crack lines in the wood base, it is in great condition.
Garlic shaped mouth with twin turquoise ground handles supporting it. The flask is covered in flower heads and bats surrounding a shou character over a stylised lotus flower with other Buddhist emblems all outlined in gilt...

A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. The inside is of a subtle lavender, while the outside is creme colored with slightly raise geometric designs. This clearly dates it to the early 20's. A bonus feature is fine woven solid silver wire (Not silver wrap) that adorns the sides and has two handles for ease of handling. Condition is excellent with just a very few minor loose threads...
One nice wood stand obtained traditional scholar mood.

The handle is done in a way as if the vine appears to grow out from the basket and fine strips of bamboo are woven throughout the vase. A heavily glazed early square pottery dish by Kimura Ichiro enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The sandy clay appears to have been twice fired, the first firing unglazed with a simple ash burn later a very thick feldspathick glaze wiped on and re-fired. It is roughly 11 by 11-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches (28 x 29 x 6 cm) and is in good condition, no chips or cracks but some color has soaked into the crackled white glaze...

Lovely Korean brass footed box with handle. This box is engraved with 2 deer on the front, a turtle on each side, and double happiness symbol on lid. There is a fish lock (no key) and the box opens to reveal a removable tray. In very good condition, the only issue is the seam on the lid right corner has slightly separated. Dating first half 20th century, it measures 6" long, about 4" high, and a little over 3.5" deep.
