Traditional folk Korean patchwork textile made from scraps of relatively soft hemp fabric, so-called Bojagi (Pojagi), mid 20th century, approx. 102 x 106cm (40.15 x 41.73in), embodies the lifestyle and the story of the people who take good care of their possessions at that time...

This dazzling child's dress front was made by Pashtuns and is probably dated to the 1950s or 60s. A stunning Globular Bizen vase like burnished bronze covered by a dusting of ash by living National Treasure Yamamoto Toshu enclosed in an artist signed wooden box. This small Afghanistan textile is embroidered in extremely fine satin stitch with repetitive triangular motifs in silk thread on a silk background. The Hazara are the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan, inhabiting mostly central Afghanistan (Ghazni and Bamiyan provinces). This piece was probably made during the winter months where the women are commonly cut off from the world for six months out of the year due to the extreme climate...

India 19th c hand carved stone spice bowls, used throughout India in traditional homes these spice bowls are carved in a variety of stone these are mostly seatite . The larger has a nice warm patina I use one in my kitchen for sea salt. Size over 3.75 w on larger 2.75 or so on the smaller H just under 2 " on taller.

Chinese landscape painting of a mountain pavilion nestled in among twisting pines, a river winds it's way through the rocks creating two waterfalls - one in the upper left of the composition and the other in the lower right below the pavilion, all done black ink on paper, signed Zhao Tsungwu, early to mid 20th century. Provenance: from the estate of the late actor James Coburn. Size of art only: 37 3/4" high x 19 1/4" wide.

This Miao silver drinking horn would have used for special occasions i.e. prospective in-laws visiting etc. The horn is small 6.5 inches from tip to far rim. The reposse design of dragon and fish is mirrored on each side of the horn.

Chinese Coral and Pearl Carved Beads Necklace with 14K Gold Clip Marked

It is 26.9 inches (67.3 cm) in circumference by 12.9 inches (32.8 cm) long. The pearl beads range from 7.8 mm- 10.8 mm. The coral bead is 11.3 mm- 12.2 mm. It is 100.9 gram.
