Fun group lot a 19th c Chinese Peking glass bead necklace (needs stringing) 32 violet cobalt blue beads , a nice late 19th or early 20th c Japanese lacquer box with lid with Fuji a Village house and a view of the bay in shades of gold leaf and a green resin and ? molded figure of Guanyin. Republic period, circa 1950, Chinese carved jaded miniature of a carpe fish seating on a lotus leaf with beautiful carved details. It measures 3.5" long, 1.5" wide .75" deep.

Early 20th Century porcelain figurine of a Japanese entertainer dressed in a brightly colored kimono and holding a fan. The lady measures about 7" tall x 6" wide. Her condition is excellent/perfect. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

This vintage Turkmen Tekke child's bib or collar is hand-embroidered in silk thread with cotton tassels. Shoulder to shoulder measures 19" and the front is 9 1/2" with a 3" fringe. The reverse is a printed cotton fabric and the embroidery technique features the traditional gul-i-badam ("almond flower") motif which is generally found only on Turkmen embroideries from Afghanistan. Condition is excellent and its estimated age is late 20th century.

Urushi small tray with gold makie whose motifs are auspicious noshi and treasures. It has an original wooden box. In excellent condition except for a chip (8mm) in the rim. Late 19th to mid 20th century. W:27cm L:18cm H:12cm

A waka poem in underglaze blue brushed by female artist/poet Tomioka Haruko decorates this porcelain Mizusashi by female potter Suwa Sozan II enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The porcelain container is 17.5 cm (7-1/2 inches) tall, 11.5 cm (4-1/2 inches) diameter and in excellent condition. On the base it bears the circular mark of Suwa Sozan II and on the side the verse is singed Haruko 80. From this we can surmise it dates from 1926 when Haruko was 80 by Japanese count...

A Chinese jade pendant of triangular shape, with pierced and carved decoration showing a bird among foliage. It is finely and delicately executed, the stone is of pale celadon color and the cord of finely pleated silk. The tassels carry colored beads. In very good condition , it dates to the Republican period and measures 2 inches W X 1 1/2 inches high ( 5cm x 3cm)

This Chinese Famille Rose brush holder is 5” high and 3 11/16” in diameter. It depicts an old sage and his young servant in a garden. The Chinese title of the picture is "Mr. Yuan-Ming admires chrysanthemum blossoms." The date on the side of the brush holder is winter, 1925. The artist’s name is Tu Zhu-Zhung. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom which says New China Company, Nan-Chang City. It is in excellent condition.

Chinese Coral and Pearl Carved Beads Necklace with 14K Gold Clip Marked

It is 26.9 inches (67.3 cm) in circumference by 12.9 inches (32.8 cm) long. The pearl beads range from 7.8 mm- 10.8 mm. The coral bead is 11.3 mm- 12.2 mm. It is 100.9 gram.

Some of the beads have inclusions, surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

This Famille Rose porcelain GuanYin figure is a mid-20th century product. It depicts a seated GuanYin holding a gold globe in her left hand. It is 10 1/8” high and 8” wide and 5 1/8” thick (both measured from the bottom). The artist name, Zheng Long Sheng, is stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This Chinese Jacket from Yunnan Province, was part of the traditional Yao Ethnic Minory costume. Approx 50 years old this textile is handwoven from indigenous plant fiber. The fibers are supposed to "last forever" so jacket will "never show used"...The thread used for hand embroidery (mostly using cross stitch technique) appears to be cotton. Jacket would be worn open, the silver buttons are intended for decoration only...

Chinese antique "Henan" stoneware vase of meiping form with ribbing, with a short collared neck over broad shoulders tapering to a narrow foot. Iron painted deep brown to black glaze. The glaze stopping short of the unglazed rim and base.

A Chinese shoushan seal carved in its natural form. On one side it shows a man riding a donkey, with another kneeling gathering items under a large tree. The reverse reveals a home in the distance. On this side, there is also a four character carved mark. This seal is carved all around using its natural colours and striations for features within the carving. The base holds the seal...

A hardcover folio containing 40 lithographs after woodcuts by Modern Chinese Artists like Li Hua (1907-94), Niu Wen (1922-2009), Shi Lu (1919-1982) and so on. Published and printed in 1956 by the "Foreign Language Press" in Beijing, first edition. An interesting time document, complete. Dimension: 35.5 cm x 26.5 cm. Condition: little wear to folio, plates fine and clean...

The big red Poem 71–74 is a rarely seen Maki Big Red. It shows a three-character phrase from Daoist literature 心善渊 “Heart like a deep pool, clear and calm, not affected by external environment.” As depicted by Maki, it is a stunning print. It was seen electronically but once in the past decade. It is coming back to Asia with a big red roar...

India sterling silver perfume box in the shape of a sitar, all hand worked with great detail, there are no losses in good condition unmarked . Size L 7.5 " w 2.5 " weight 160 g.

Vintage Japanese okimono of one of the 3 wise monkeys in their habitual "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” attitude - in this case Mizaru covering his eyes. Carved in ittobori (one cut) style typical for the Hida school. Very clever rendition of the animal, much more creative and challenging as a number of intersecting planes versus natural familiar rounded lines. Very clever use of ichii (yew wood), its texture nicely imitating fur of the animal, in excellent condition...

These well-carved hardwood Luo Han statues are about 8 1/4 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 4 inches in depth. They were carved around 1950. One is holding a 7 storied pagoda; the other is holding a four sided vase. Both have inlayed eyes, but the latter is missing his right eye. They are in good condition.

Japanese bronze suiban, or shallow dish for the arranging of viewing stones called suiseki and small plants. It is of a rectangular form with four feet, the sides forged with scrolling vine motifs and two handles. Signature on underside.

Beautiful vintage Japanese sodenashi (work vest) made with indigo sakiori (rag weave) cotton, woven with multicolor areas to create a lovely patchwork effect, edged in solid indigo cotton, reinforced along the back, sides, and back of the neck in sashiko stitching. These vests were traditionally worn by workers in mountainous regions.

Chinese ring with green jadeite oval shaped cabochon, mounted on a 14K good ring (with gold mark), the jadeite is encircled in a ring of leaves and raised up with an open back to maximize the light shining through stone. Size: 1.7cm x 1cm

Silk crepe kimono with modern design whose techniques are katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and hand-painting. In excellent condition except for a few stains in the top collar, however unvisible as it is folded inside, and light blue color slightly faded in the jointing parts of the body and sleeves. 1960s or 70s. 130cm x 146cm
