A densely beaded Uzbek purse, probably from Mazar-i-Sharif or Kunduz, northern Afghanistan. The designs are typical of Uzbek embroidery in which variations on geometric shapes are emphasized for talismanic effect. The purse is edged with gold trim and blue beads as a prophylactic against the evil eye. The purse is lined with green and pink silk, and a red cotton fabric. There are three pockets inside. A remarkable sterling silver bonbon spoon by Watson. The detail is easily equivalent to work by Tiffany, Whiting or the other great Victorian silversmiths. The bowl is decorated fully with grape leaves, clusters of fruit, and delicate tendrils finished with intricate piercing. Chinese porcelain baluster vase painted in late 'famille rose' style on a white ground with a group of Immortals resting in a landscape. The base glazed white with a six character Jiaqing mark in iron red and of the period.

Large folk art hooked cotton rug of a maroon horse outlined in black and with black hooves and tail trotting to the left against a tan ground with maroon corners and blue bands to enclose the horse. The elegant vintage bracelet, approximately 2 3/8 inches (60.33 mm) in inner diameter and 61 grams in weight, is artistically designed and skillfully carved. Its strong translucent jadeite material shows very beautiful apple green-white hues.

This lovely Orchid decanter (#5025) features Heisey's crystal clear glass and its very popular upside down orchid and bows. This decanter is fitted with a sterling silver stopper that is marked and its in excellent condition. It stands 8 1/2" tall to the top of the silver stopper and the decanter is in excellent condition. It was produced sometime between 1940-57. This Hazara purse from Bamiyan utilizes satin stitch and brick stitch in a combination of silk and cotton thread to achieve a simplicity in design, depicting diamond motifs and hooked diamond patterns, a trademark of Hazara embroidery. The purse measures 12 x 28 cm and is in excellent condition. The interior features three pockets and is partially lined with a dark blue printed silk fabric. Colored beads embellish the fringes of the purse. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century.

Stylized shell form by Licio Zanetti is masterfully sculpted from pure crystal. No glitz here, just pure form. The form is strong and emphasizes those visual qualities unique to glass, and demonstrates the ability of the Muranese artisans to sculpturally interpret elements from their natural environment in masterful ways. Measuring 9.5"w x 4"h x 5.5"d, signed by Licio Zanetti, the sculpture is in good condition, with normal wear at the base.

MacBeth-Evans American Sweetheart monax 13"x10" Platter is in excellent condition. This pattern was made from 1930-36.

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 5 1/2 inch goblet in crystal with the satin finish. Perfect condition.
