Superb and very rare copper bowl in the form of three bound leaves by acclaimed silversmith Alfredo Sciarrotta. Most of Sciarrotta’s work was in sterling silver, but he did make a limited line of copper and brass wares early in his career. The designer’s work is instantly recognizable from the quality of workmanship, the heaviness of the material, and of course the naturalistic shapes accented with delicately curling edges and engraved veining...

A sterling silver double jigger in International's classic1939 Art Deco "Royal Danish" pattern. The jigger is marked with one of International's older hallmarks. The double jiggers in this pattern are difficult to find.

Origin: America, ca. 1945. Condition: very good, one pinpoint to the side and a few pinpoints on the rim visible upon close inspection, no monogram. Weight: 65.5 grams. Size: 4-9/32" tall.

These sparkly lunch or dessert plates measure 8 1/4" across. They feature Cape Cod's pattern of fire-polished optic glass diamonds and thumbprints with a large ray star in the center. Each is in excellent condition and would make a fine housewarming gift. Production dates: 1932-1984. I have other Cape Cod and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design. Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.

An elegant set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons by English silversmith William Suckling, Ltd. The handles are simply decorated with an acanthus bud. The bowls are slightly broader and more balloon-shaped than the typical demitasse spoon, so they could easily be used for delicate desserts. Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. Measurements: 5 1/2"L x 2" H; Jigger measures 1 3/4" H. Handle width-1"; Condition is very good vintage with minor pin dots inside jigger. Repair to knob that attaches handle to back of jigger.

A sterling silver corkscrew by International Silver in one of the company’s 1930s Art Deco designs. Clearly patterned after the popular Scandinavian designs of the period, this design is very similar to “Royal Danish”, “Sonja” and “Norse”. The handle is marked with International’s older hallmark and the pattern number “NX14”.

A very nice cut crystal cocktail shaker in amethyst overlay. The design is a classic pattern of angular mitres emanating from oval printies. These shakers were almost always acid-signed “Japan” on the base, but someone scratched out the signature on this one. Cut glass in the Art Deco style was one of the industries established in Japan during the occupation at the end of World War II. The products were of fine quality and easily competed with European glass from the era...

This Murano Glass modern expression is typical of the Flavio Poli vessel and animal designs for Seguso Vetri d'Arte in the 1940's and 1950's. There are many references to the modern forms with multiple sommerso layers of controlled bubbles and a generous layer of gold leaf by Flavio Poli. An identical form is documented in Leslie Pinas' book ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO on page 95, valued there at $500. -700. This fine modern expression is 7" in diameter, 2.75" tall...

This bright Westmoreland carnival basket shows rich purple and cranberry-red pansies with a petal from each to form the foot. The handles are clear and arc over the flowers to just touch, and the bottom is crystal clear. It measures 4 3/4" across and 4 1/2" high to the top of the handles. Rare vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the form of wing-handled fire bucket. The side is engraved “Fire Water.” Figural jiggers gained popularity in the Art Deco era. The bottom is marked “Lunt Sterling 15”.

This cool Menorah was made by zanazan, designed by the well known artist, Shahen Pooladian. It is a 9 - piece set. It features a modernist mid-century design. The candle holders measure 2 1/2". The Shamash measures 3 1/2". The bottom of each piece is marked zanazan MADE IN USA. I believe this set is pewter.

Rare hand blown Bohemian style Murano Glass cobalt blue tea set with applied white enameled flowers in high relief, monogrammed saucers and footed cups. Custom made and purchased on Murano Island, Venice, Italy in the 1900's. Total of 22 pieces, 2 of which are lids, the set offers teapot with lid (8.25" high), sugar with lid (4.5" high), creamer (5.25" high), 5 large footed cups (3.75" high), 6 small footed cups (3" high), 6 saucers (5.5" diameter).

An unusually large "Ivory" coloured moulded Bakelite (Urea Formaldehyde) wall plaque designed by William McMillan RA. These plaques were manufactured by De la Rue Plastics and were presented by the War Office to local Savings Committees in appreciation of their success in "Salute the Soldier Week" in 1944.
