DESCRIPTION: A very good woven oak-splint basket in lobed buttocks form, used as a field gathering basket or a market basket for goods. This large early 1900’s Pennsylvania basket has a sturdy bentwood handle with double bentwood-wrapped rims; old varnish finish. Very good condition with minor usage wear. Beautiful blue Aurene pedestal foot perfume bottle with original long dauber. The base of the perfume is marked “Steuben Aurene 3174 around the polished pontil. Including the stopper, the perfume is 7 ½ inches tall. The bottle is not round but is flattened on the sides and measures 1 7/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches at the widest portion. The same bottle also appears in the literature and in the Carder Steuben Club shape gallery as shape 6438.
A wonderful Mid Century Modern box by Salvador Teran in brass embellished with tiles in shades of blue, red, green, orange, black and white. Depicts a servant with a steaming bowl of food. Signed on the bottom, Hand Wrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 430. Box measures 5 5/8" long, 4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Has some minor tarnish and one very small area of uneven finish. Tight hinge. High style.

A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor.

The pattern, Argus, was produced by Fostoria from 1964-1982. We only have one available. This one is in mint condition and is 6-7/8" tall. (This pattern was issued for the Ford Museum.)
Northwood Chinese Coral Red Bowl is 9.5" across and the rim is 3-3/8" high. The interior of the bowl is ribbed. This fabulous color is a great chinese red and was made in 1924-25. The two photos show the ribbing and the outside orange color. This is caused by the reheating of the bowl. When it comes out of the mold, it's color is yellow/orange. When it is refired, it turns to the bright red color you see here. It is an opaque red glass.

The bird measures 9 5/8 inches high and is 9 1/2 inches long. The bird is modeled with his beautiful tail feathers extended in their natural splendor. The colors are brilliant. He is wonderful to look at from any position. Heidenreich had the ability to bring this exotic bird alive in porcelain.
