This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 Inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The cup has melon ribs and the saucer is scalloped on the rim. The ground color is deep forest green. It is decorated with white raised enamel flowers and gilded leaves. A spectacular Murano glass epergne, made probably by Archimede Seguso, around 1950. The epergne is 12 1/4 inches (31 cm) tall, with a bottom width of 9 inches (23 cm) and a top-width of 4 1/2 inches (12 cm). In fine condition. Unsigned, as expected.

This is a beautiful ladle measuring 12 3/4" in length. The bowl is in the shape of a large shell, and there is a lion engraved on the handle. There are four marks on the back of the handle which I tried to photograph. The first long one I can't make out, the second is the head of a lion with a crown on his head, the third is a full lion, and the last has initials which I believe to be HB. I believe the ladle to be Georgian.

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

Set of 6 Art Deco chrome and glass cocktail glasses in the rare “Blue Moon” pattern by the Chase Brass & Copper Co. The combination of the dark cobalt glass over the stepped bell-shaped chrome bases is a superb design. There are shown in Visakay’s book along with the “Blue Moon” cocktail shaker. The bottoms are marked with Chase’s logo.

I am not a specialist in this sort of thing, but will describe to the best of my ability: this is a vintage, circa 1920's to early 1940's at latest, ceramic work depicting a distant fairy castle, towering cumulus clouds in the sky, a grove of trees at right balancing the scene. Measurements are 9 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 7/8" thick, and the piece weighs roughly 2 3/4 pounds. More than likely this is by one of the known ceramic works of California from the Arts and Crafts period; found in Los Angeles...

This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.

Spratling designed this extraordinary pair of sterling wall sconces in the 1950's. Hand forged in sterling silver, each sconce measures 7 1/4" high X 7 1/4" across.
