This drum shows deep carvings, the 3 face s on top are rather unusual, they show fierceful faces , this handle has been collected from Chepang tribes from Hetauda district, this district is south of kathmandu , Chepang are more or less Gipsy people living in forests and they are moving often and are living in established houses. In the past 10 years they have been approach by christian missionaries and few years ago I saw many Dhyangro from this district arriving on the market in Kathmandu...
Large Indian yantra , 89x85 cm. red ink on paper. Reinforced with gummed tape on reverse. Damaged corners as shown. Undated,estimated to be 19th/20th centuries. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.
A Tibetan ewer beautifully worked in silver alloy, probably with later gilding. The compressed body with two cartouches showing the subject of "the four harmonious brothers" and a monk sitting under a tree among animals and treasures. The lid with a vajra-shaped knob and decorated with Buddhist symbols. Silver tested. Condition: few traces of usage, areas with little oxidation. Dimension: c. 15 cm long, 12.5 cm high, weight: 321 g.
Indian Jain bronze figure of Vishnu with Lakshmi seated on his knee. Six other figures are present including 2 attendants on the bottom. The figure on the bottom is their friend and vehicle, Garuda. Incised with writing on the base and back.

This mask represents a tiger, note a very fine work of sculpture with the gouge, the deep carvings are highlighted with a white coloring. Very hard wood, the inside shows the natural patina of oxidized wood over time. Very good age likelu first part of the 20th or even earlier. H 21 cm, width 20 cm.

Tibetan Himalayan Dzi glass bead, 42mm x 7mm(1 3/4" long x 1/2" diameter).
A fine and complete set of Tibetan saddle Rugs. The set is composed of a woollen saddle blanket in butterfly shape and a matching saddle seat cover. The central medallion decorated with pair of Snow Lions playing with pearls, beige on red ground; borders with stylised dragons, red and blue on beige borders. Snow Lion is the national emblem of Tibet. Large piece: L. 143 cm x 66 cm; 56 x 26 inches.

A hand-emboidered purse from Pakistan, measuring 19 cm x 21 cm. The embroidery technique is a combination of ladder stitch and satin stitch in silk on a black cotton ground. The purse is framed on all three sides by white glass bead tassels. Estimated age: late 20th century. Condition is excellent.

Tibetan Himalayan Shigatze Wool Rug with two(2) Dragons chasing Flame in cream color 100% wool on cotton backing, bordered with wide floral branches in the separate Cartouches, thick heavy weight, 72"(6') x 36"(3'), owner purchased in Shigatze in Tibet around 1980. Small Indian bronze figure of a standing female deity, most likely the protective Jain Mother Goddess, Ambika. Although it is difficult to tell for sure, the popularity of the Yakshi goddess in Jainism makes it probable.

Depicting curling horned and star patterns, this wedding textile from the Hazara district of Pakistan, in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as NWFP) is densely embroidered in silk floss thread on a black cotton ground. It measures 70 x 77.5 cm and is in excellent condition. The motifs are curvilinear and embroidered in dark red in a combination of satin stitch and long and short stitch, outlined with a top stitch of golden silk floss. Estimated age: late 20th century.

Old mask with black patina, presence of goat skin with black hairs to represent hairs, eyelashes, eyebrows, mustaches and beard. The mouth is open showing the sculpted upper teeth. The top of the head is cut to represent the crown indicating an important man in his community. Very heavy and hard wood. Age at least mid 20th. H 32 cm

Tibetan Himalayan low grade large Hard Silver Belt Buckle, Ca. 1930's, 11 1/2" wide, 3 3/4" high, 1 3/4" deep, slightly curved to fit the shape of the front part of the waist, and high relief deep hand hammered and impressed design of double goats in the center with three(3) inlaid turquoise stones, large loose ring is attached on the bottom and two(2) hooks are located on the back inside. Measuring 32.5 x 208 cm on black cotton, this woman's scarf from Hazara district in Pakistan is embroidered in satin stitch in floss silk thread. The curvilinear motifs are outlined with stitches of golden floss thread. The motifs are arranged into geometric compositions indicative of Central Asian influence. Condition is excellent and its estimated age is late 20th century.
