Netsuke carved by Ryoshu (born in 1912) - one of the best Japanese netsuke carvers of the 20th century. Netsuke represents a doll of Daruma (founder of Zen Buddhism) enveloped in monastic robe, and his eyes can pop in and out. Perfectly captured facial expression, beautifully incised and etched facial hair and 3 flowering chrysanthemums on his robe. Chinese 20th century Eggshell Porcelain Famille Rose Dragon Vase of amphora form finely hand painted in bright enamel with six red, yellow, and green dragons on a Famille Rose Millefleurs and gold background. The flaring neck rim is decorated with bands of Ruyi scepter heads. The base is encircled by a border of foaming waves and rocks.

Signed on the bottom with an apocryphal red enamel six -character seal mark.

The vase comes together with its elegant rosewood stand.
