There are various seashells carved around the monkey, including one with a hermit crab peeking its head out. Very precisely carved. Taisho period (1912-1925)

This is a very beautiful early "Ming Guo" or early Chinese Republic (1912-1950) fine famille rose Tianqiuping vase. The vase depicts spring season with many flowers blooming and four colorful butterflies scattered around and flying about the flowers. The flowers consist of peony, daisy and prunus with some bamboo and grasses in it. The prunus is shown growing out in all directions. There is also a short poetry about the flowers written on the vase...

Japanese contemporary ceramic vase for ikebana, or flower arrangements. It has a very interesting, gritty textural surface and color scheme of blues, purples, and brownish-greens. The interior of the vase is slightly ribbed with vertical lines going down its sides, with a yellow/brown/green and blue glaze. Signature on bottom. It comes with its original signed wooden storage box. Wonderful Condition

This carved ivory statue of a girl holding a flower basket was carved around 1970. It is 7 inches tall (with the base, it is 8 ¼ inches high), 2 inches wide and 1 ½ inches thick. Her left hand is holding a woven flower basket and her right hand is gently grabbing the tassels from the basket. It is in excellent condition.
This 1970¡¯s Chinese carved polychrome bone statue is 6 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. It depicts a cricket sitting on a Chinese cabbage (Napa). There is a red plant wrap around the bottom of the cabbage. The technique of carving and dying is superb. It is in great condition.
Japanese large print entitled "Fruit" by the artist Reika Iwami. She was born in 1927, graduated from the Tokyo Bunka Gakuin Art College. She studied the art of doll-carving and worked under the national treasure, Hori Ryūjo before becoming a print artist in 1954. This print exemplifies her use of large abstract shapes and a muted pallet. In this print, Iwami has used mica and an embossing technique. Signed in graphite, dated 1959...
