Japanese 20th century porcelain vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Vase. Showa period, circa 1930-1950. The body of the vase is red with a pink chrysanthemum amongst white peonies with a green orchid. The red color, known as akasuke, is difficult to produce. Only the most skilled artisans can create the rich ruby red color and the transparent element where the motif on the vase shows through the glaze. Excellent condition, no scratches or dents. Beautifully carved Chinese Jadeite Pendant. Face has a pleasant slight grin with stylized horns laying flat to the long head in a sleek line. Has a gold fitting at end with loop to hang. Gorgeous color varies from each side. One side has lighter whitish color marbled with green.

The massive stone carving of a stump of a tree is a 1970’s, 1980's product. It depicts two large beetles sitting on the top of a rotted stump; their eggs are nearby. Some fungus and mushrooms are growing from the top and sides of the stump. Several leaves lay on the side as well. The carving is superbly realistic. It is 6 ½” high, 7 ½” wide from the widest part and 8” thick. It is in excellent condition.

This carved ivory okimono of Daikoku is a mid 20th century product. It depicts a smiling Daikoku holding a mallet (Japanese called Uchide no Kozuchi) or a lucky hammer over his head in his left hand.
