Vintage Japanese box and tray set, made of black lacquered wood with shell inlay in classic Art Deco design of stylized phoenixes, good condition, Showa Period (circa 1933). Tray is 11 1/2" long x 7 3/4" wide. Box is 5" wide by 4" wide.

Early 20th C Chinese hand carved ivory cribbage board with a with a pair of dragons on scrolling ground. Measures about 9" long.

Pair Japanese Blue and White Porcelain Soba Noodle Cups, Showa period, early 1900's, 3 1/8" high, 2 5/8" diameter-top rim, with transfered blue design on white, signed on the bottom. The condition is good, some missed glaze spots on the rim.

This nice horn carving of a vase (or cup) is 4 5/8” high, 2 ¾” wide and 1 ¾” thick. It depicts the theme of “Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove”, Chinese name Zhu Lin Qi Xian (竹 林 七 贤). As is traditionally depicted, the group of seven scholars, musicians and sages wished to escape the intrigues, corruption and stifling atmosphere of the court life during the political chaos of the Three Kingdoms period (220 AD~265 AD)...

Genuine Chinese hand carved Ox horn bowl, Carved Dragon. Dimension: 4.53 inches in diameter. Weight 0.19 lbs/88 grams.

This Chinese hair comb was hand carved from a beautifully "grained" translucent animal horn. Obtained from an ethnic minority person, the pair of ducks carved into the handle were commonly used by mainstream Han Chinese as a symbol of a long and happy marriage. Items with this symbol would often be gifted for an anniversary.

Vintage Japanese lacquer kogai style kanzashi - a hair pin - with black and gold lacquer decoration. Kogai type kanzashi consists of two sticks featuring a design on each end, which tend to be wider than the centre. Kogai resemble sheathed swords, with one end being removable in order for it to be placed in the hairstyle. Chinese natural dark brown Amber Toggle, polished natural pebble shape, 4 3/8" high overall maximum height, and 1 3/8" high x 7/8" wide x 1/2" deep for the natural Amber piece only. There are some surface scratches and imperfections plus some infusions or bug inside the Amber piece.
