1930's Chinese Silver Gilt Heart Shaped Tourmaline & Jadeite Beads Carved Bracelet Marked

It is 7.9 inches (20 cm) in circumference by 2.3 inches (5.8 cm) inner diameter and 1.1 inches (3 cm) wide. The heart plaque is 22.25 mm wide. The bead rang from 10.48 mm 13.8 mm. It weighs 42.1 gram.

The silver is tarnished. It also has inclusions at the beads and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

This is a dress panel made by Kuchi nomads from Afghanistan, with mirrorwork (shisha) and extensive beadwork. This textile represents the most common form of the amulet, the triangle. Decorative embroideries such as these are used as a protective element in central Asian cultures.
