Set of six Georg Jensen sterling demitasse spoons in the coveted "Acanthus" pattern. Each spoon measures 3 3/4" long. Four of the spoons are marked on the back with "GI" in a circle of dots, "Sterling", and "Denmark". These four spoons are circa 1915-1930. The other two spoons are marked "Georg Jensen" in a circle of dots, "Sterling" and "Denmark". These two spoons could be the same age, or possibly date later. They match perfectly. Excellent condition.

Amazing VENETIAN Older Murano Cased SILVER FLECKS Art Glass Vase with 2 Applied Blue Flowers!!! Believe it is a FERRO TOSO BAROVIER piece circa 1930s. Has an early label underneath "Paul's Murano Venezia Italy". There are a few little chips to the flower petals, but hardly noticeable by sight. Mentioned for accuracy. Large Classical sterling silver covered urn. Made by Currier & Roby in New York, ca 1920. Girdled bowl with leaf-capped s-scroll side handles, stepped foot and stepped and domed cover with vasiform finial. Traditional form with extra oomph. Beautiful proportions and plenty of room for engraving. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

This beautiful comport was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. Approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, 3 inches high. Color is a green ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. See my other listings for a matching comport in yellow.

A pair of Chinese famille verte enameled porcelain boxes formed as recumbent quails. Realistically modelled, the feathers under green, aubergine and yellow glazes, the interiors glazed turquoise. The underside of the boxes molded with a pair of tucked-in legs, left unglazed. Resting on carved fitted wooden stands.

Size: Each measuring 7" wide, 4.25" deep and 4-1/8" high. Height on stand 6"

A delicate antique Chinese Tea Box with exquisitely decorated gilt relief. It has a pewter box lining with a glass knob. The lacquer shows images of a pavillion setting with trees and a border of flowers. The pewter box has a primitive etching of scholars with rocks and grasses. The interior top is lacquer with two gold fronds.

This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is lavishly engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. The maker's mark is FHA & Co.

Simple and beautiful silver beaker or small vase with flaring rim and a neat “pearl” border at the base. Made by Van Kempen, Begeer & Vos (1919-60), purveyors to the Dutch Court. Marks: KBV, Dutch silver marks for 835 and year mark for 1921. Height "3¼/ 8 cm. Condition: small dent 2 centimeters from the base (cf photo).

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1131 candlestick - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald green. A Chinese porcelain 'famille rose' jar, finely painted with flowering peony vignettes and fruits on a white ground. The inside glazed white, as well as the base with the base rim and the exterior neck left unglazed. No markings. This is a very nice heavy jar.
