This is a fantastic sword walking stick featuring two snakes and a push button release for the sword. This stick measures 33 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1". The handle itself measures 6 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 1". The ferrule is 1 1/2" and the collar is 3/4". The sword blade is 8 3/4" long. A great stick!

This ornate Siamese statue depicts a nobleman kneeling wearing court formal attire. A few areas of wear on the gilding as would be expected from handling a piece of this age. Siam changed its name to Thailand 1949...This statue predates the name change He is 16 inches tall and weighs approx 7 lbs. No chips, no cracks, very good condition...

Pair of large Chinese Republic period baluster form vases decorated with mirror image famille rose enamelled bird and flower motifs. Black inscription to the back includes Tianjin and the date in cycle years of 1932. There is a prominent luting line in the neck and a barely visible luting line at the mid-section. 17 1/8” and 17 1/4" high. Very good overall condition. They were previously drilled for lamps and the holes in the bottom have been professionally restored...

A wooden sculpture carved from a single block of wood of kannon or kwan yin. The work takes inspiration from the 6th century image at Horyuji temple in Ikaruga, Nara. Jimbo Yutaka (1923~) is known throughout Japan for his wooden sculptures and has done numerous exhibitions. The work comes with a tomobako with the inscription of the title of the work and the artist's signature and seals. The work also contains a signature by the artist. A pottery bowl or olla by the matriarch of the Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico, Lucy Martin Lewis (c.1899-1992). Circa 1940. Saiho-hinagata (or hinagata), the sewing sample which is a miniature sample to learn sewing. It was invented by an educator for saving time and textile using a special measuring rod. It was practiced in a girl's school from Meiji 7, 1874). Reduced scales were one-third in the beginning and one-quarter, one-half, one-fifth etc. The sewing technique was exactly same as the real size in details. A fine engraved Ellis Barker silver plated coffee pot from the 1920s. This top quality English silver plated 9-1/8" engraved and chased coffee pot by Ellis Barker (or Barker Ellis in England)has the original wood handle and it is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND 10 with the Menorah maker's mark (used after 1912). This c1920s pot is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This drum handle is still provided with the wooden wedge which is used to fix it on the drum. The top shows 3 faces with open and threatening mouths, each face is separated by the Shaivite trisul. The center part is a very fine dorgi framed by spherical basketwork patterns the whole giving a shape that fits well in the hand. The triangular point shows a very beautiful sculptural work. ON each angle is a Makara mouth with wide open eyes and whose hands grip very realistically sculpted snakes...

Offered is this beautiful, large and heavy Murano glass bowl with 'ovals', made most likely, by Barovier & Toso. The bowl is approximately 14 inches (35 cm) wide and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) tall. It is in very good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected - these 'oval' decor was typical of Ercole Barovier (please refer to page 34 of Leslie Pina's book, 'Italian Glass century 20', for an Ercole Barovier designed vase with blue ovals).

Beautifully carved Green Spinach Jade Chinese Boulder with landscape scenes of mountainous village with go players and bamboo groves, peaked rooflines and finely written calligraphy poetry on two surfaces on an interesting wooden reticulated branch base. This very well carved and polished horn carving of a Zun (Chinese traditional libation wine vessel) is an early or mid - 20th century product. It is 5 ½” high, 6 ½” wide and 3 ½” thick (both measured from the top), the round bottom is 2” in diameter. Twelve stylized Bixie (辟邪) and different ritual bronze patterns were deeply carved into the entire body. The artist’s name is illegibly carved on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This is a really nice crystal clear vintage glass Sailboat, aka Ship, ash tray with a metal sail, made by Hazel Atlas Glass into the 1940s. This glass sailboat measures 5 7/8 inches long X 2 1/4 inches across. The ash tray measures 6 1/2 inches high to the top of the metal sail. The glass sailboat is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The original metal sail does have some discoloration on it - please see pictures for detail...

Wow, this is what they all want the perfect, partially restored nailed head, 1930s French leather Club chair. Back and bottom cushions have been restored with our signature Pyrenees French leather. These eight wayang kulit shadow puppets, called in Bali "ringgits", were bought from a dalang (shadow artist) in Bali around 1960 and had then already a certain age. Chinese cabinet from the Shandong province made from jumu wood (elm). The two front swinging doors open with brass pulls on long, brass panels. The shelved interior is very roomy. Elegant Japanese Cotton Jacket with sashiko hand stitches, slits on the sides, new condition. The small stitches go through from the front to back or back to front. Rare semi antique supplementary warp silk embroidery on handspun indigo cotton, blanket from the diverse Tai ethnic group Vietnam/Laos. I collected this in Chiang Mai around 15 years ago and would date it around 50 to 90 years old. Nowadays you just can’t find this sort of textile anymore.
