With it's GREAT color and style this Venini will fit easily into your Retro 50's decor! This Venini Fazzoletto measures just over 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall, and is 7 inches (17.8 cm) in diameter. The Turquoise interior is cased with a layer of latimo glass. Ground pontil, and signed "venini/Murano/Italia" on the bottom. The mark is difficult to read being white on white, but I've included a addtional contrast adjusted photograph to more clearly show the mark...

This carved amethyst double snuff bottle is a mid 20th century product. It is 3” high, 2 ¼” wide and 1” thick. One of the snuff bottles is a leaping carp. The other is a vase surround by lotus leaves and lotus blossoms. The top is a pair of intertwined birds. Ocean waves support both bottles. The two spoons are later replacements. The flaked composition of the crystal has left a small chip on the rim of the vase. Aside from this small imperfection, it is in great condition.

This porcelain dish was produced in Bavaria, Germany by Tirschenreuth in the 1960s. It measures 7 5/8 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. It is artist signed “Andrews.” The porcelain dish is formed in the shape of a leaf and has a handle on one end. The inside of the dish is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and raspberries. As the Hazara district is situated between Punjab and Swat, the embroidery of this area is stylistically very similar to that of the Swat Valley. This porcelain and sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The well of the saucer is indented so that the cup sits in it securely and will not slide off. This is known as a “trembleuse” cup and saucer. Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Pepper or Salt Shaker, 2 5/8" diameter, 1 1/8" high, made late 1880's, "Long Life" Chinese Character written in three(3) areas inside the circle, enclosed by typical Rose Medallion pattern with overglaze Famille Rose colors of the roses and butterflies in gold highlight. Marked "China" in red on the bottom and large hole for cork stopper.

This 20th century Chinese YiXin teapot is 3 ¾” high, 4 ½” in diameter and 7” long from spout to the handle. The artist’s name, which is illegible, is stamped inside the lid. Another stamped square seal “China, YiXin” is on the bottom. The design on the pot depicts a peach tree and peach on the lid, spout, handle and part of the body. It is in excellent condition.

Measuring 27 x 29 cm, this embroidery from Afghanistan is composed of mostly satin stitch in silk thread. The continuous supplementary-weft technique makes this textile reversible and either face may be used as the front. Condition: Excellent, no stains, no flaws of any kind.
