This is a wedding shift from Indus Kohistan in Pakistan. Kohistan, meaning "land of mountains", has been a crossroads between Central, South and Southwestern Asia, absorbing artistic influences from the ancient Greeks and Scythians. Measuring 190 cm extended from sleeve to sleeve, the bust is 45 cm; arm opening: 34 cm; from shoulder to bottom hem: 104 cm. Depicting delicate motifs in somber, predominantly blue-black combined with discrete touches of rusty red, this textile from the Savu Islands of eastern Indonesia is called a selindang. The shawls are worn by women over their shoulders, to complete their sarong attire. This textile is estimated to date to the late 20th century and is constructed by warp ikat, warp-faced, with fringes. It measures 71 x 191 cm and is in perfect condition. The dye is a natural indigo.
Offered is this beautiful set of six glass stems, made by Bimini Werkstette, around 1930. Each glass is just under 6 inches (15 cm) tall and they are in very good condition. The glass is extremely light and delicate. Unsigned, but guaranteed to be by Bimini (Bimini stems are shown on page 67 of Judith Miller's book, '20th century glass' - shown in last picture here).

This jar is in exceptional condition with its incredible paint work, the body in red tones with trim of black and an out line there is a pattern in the center of his jar of flowing vine with a white leaf pattern. Rare 18th-early 19th c Indian stucco temple statue from the Goa region . The figure is of lord Krishna's father Vasudeva this piece was once part of the temple structure and has been repainted countless times the paint showing now seems to be enamel. The statue has lost all his limbs and some loss and repair to the back of the head .
