A splendid ruby cut to clear glass crystal compote on a scalloped foot rising along a faceted shaped stem with terraced capital supporting a gorgeous rich ruby red cut bowl. The compote has excellent weight - you know you are getting a quality piece of crystal when you feel it in your hand. While it is unmarked, it bears considerable likeness to Val St Lambert, much of whose production was unmarked. This is a high end sterling silver with 24K gold overlay travel razor set. Made for Thomae Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, the Gillette razor features a telescopic handle with a head that unscrews. The small tube case has 2 small replacement screws inside. Featuring a kneeling nude woman with irises surrounding the rim, it is a heavy piece much like a sculpture.
