Chinese heavy weight wooden grain measuring bucket with black iron mounting with studded nails, 10" high, 7" square-top rim, 12" square-bottom rim, two(2) handles are positioned in different angle to hold the heavy weight grain. There are Chinese Characters written in black calligraphy style on all four(4) sides. Some iron mounting area on the bottom is rusted and left rough wooden surface.

This vintage Pashtun beaded purse from the mid 20th century is embroidered in an extremely fine ladder stitch in silk thread on a dark purple polyester ground. The thread colors are mustard, violet and kiwi green. The purse is embellished with tiny blue seed beads on the edges which is a traditional feature of Pashtun embroideries. It is lined with red cotton fabric in the interior. Condition is excellent. Dimensions are 11.5 x 12 cm closed, 11 x 22 cm when open.

Perhaps a modern reference to Jo and Uba, the old couple on the island Takasago who symbolize longevity.

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo.
