This is an Uzbek puttee embroidered in silk thread on a white cotton ground. The technique is a combination of ladder and satin stitch, depicting star motifs in vibrant colors. The puttee measures 7.4 x 55 cm without the string, and is estimated to date from the early to mid 20th century. The reverse is lined with a red floral print cotton.

Japanese 20th Century black lacquered tea caddy. The caddy comes in 2 parts, bottom and fitted lid. The caddy is made of wood and is covered in a smooth, black lacquer. The tea caddy measures 2 3/4" tall and 2 5/8" in diameter. Unsigned. No storage box.

Fox skin ruff. Kilt, sash, fox skin, buckskin over back. White body paint. Carries a bow and a yucca whip. Appears in Mixed Kachina Dance, or in an ordinary kachina dance where he spies on the clowns...

A French Vallauris dish by Cerenne, with black, silky glaze. Decoration in bright enamels of a gardener with his tools and flower pots.The back with impressed Vallauris mark and painted MC (painters signature) and Cerenne Vallauris. Cerenne (=CRN) was the signature used by one of the largest ceramic workshops in Vallauris, led by Charles René Roger Neveux. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: small rubbing to the glaze just outside the right flower.

The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. This is a really nice depression glass green Block Optic 7 1/4 inch diameter deep Salad Bowl made by Hocking Glass from 1929 to 1933. This Bowl measures 2 3/4 inches high and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. This Bowl can be hard to find.
