A finely crafted pumpkin shaped Zisha clay Yixing stoneware teapot decorated on one side with applied pumpkin vine decoration. This item carries three seal marks which all bear the name Shi Yu Zhen. Condition: excellent - no chips or cracks and no restoration. A large, heavy, green glazed stoneware vase made by Trevor Corser at Leach Pottery, St Ives, Cornwall. Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration. 27cm (10.5 inches) high. Weight: 3.5 kg (7lb 11.5oz)

A very rare wood and pewter bar caraffe or decanter with glass thermos liner and Swiss made musical movement which plays "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss. This item was designed by Aldo Tura for Macabo of Milan, Northern Italy, and made circa 1958. Condition: excellent - there is a little rusting to the movement which is in good working condition; there are no damages and no repairs or restoration. 32cm (12.6 inches) high.

An unusually large "Ivory" coloured moulded Bakelite (Urea Formaldehyde) wall plaque designed by William McMillan RA. These plaques were manufactured by De la Rue Plastics and were presented by the War Office to local Savings Committees in appreciation of their success in "Salute the Soldier Week" in 1944. Some are still to be found in public buidigs throughout the U.K.. For a similar commemmorative wall plaque please view cat. no. EPH 4622 in the collection of the Imperial War Museum, London. Condition: exceptionally good - one small 1.5cm production flaw to the left of the rifle but not visible on the reverse. 58cm (22.8 inches) high; 35cm (13.75 inches) wide.

A very rare Lalique glass "le Heure Bleue" Eau de Cologne bottle produced by Guerlain, Paris, circa 1914. Condition: excellent - no damages and with some of its original 'perfume'. 16.5cm (6.5 inches) high.

A silver mounted Skean Dhu (Sgian-Dubh) with carved horn handle and snakeskin leather sheath made by leading Edinburgh Silversmith Robert Allison and assayed in Glasgow in 1952. Condition: excellent. 20cm (7.8 inches) long.

A rare carved hardwood plaque depicting a heavily tattooed Maori figure with top-knot and holding a Mere (traditional short club); the eyes are inset with Paua (abalone) shells. This item was acquired with the large mask (item #201 in our catalogue) and is signed with the same initials. Condition: very good - the left toe of the left foot is missing; no other damages and no repairs. 75cm (29.5 inches) high. A large,heavy, Indigo "Hooped" vase ( Whitefriars pat. no. 9680) designed by Geoffrey Baxter and produced by Whitefriars Glass in this colour in 1967 only. An "ogee" shaped porcelain bowl decorated with polychrome 'famille rose' enamels depicting two pheasants amongst flowering peony and pomegranate branches and below a band of alternating lotus flowers and the eight Buddhist emblems, the Bajixiang. The seal mark to the base reads "Zhong Hua Min Guo" (Republic of China), dating it to the period 1911-1949. Condition: there are rim frits / chips and there is a light 1cm hairline to the rim ; no further damages and no restoration. 14cm (5.5inches) diameter; 5.9cm (2.3inches) high. A large bright, hand painted, matt glazed Art Deco vase made in the Plateelba Zuid-Holland (PZH) factory, Gouda, in the Netherlands. This item carries the date mark for 1932. Condition: Excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration. 30cm (12inches) high; 16cm (6.3inches) diameter.

An early 20th Century Zisha ("purple clay") teapot with famille rose enamelled decoration depicting the "Three Friends of Winter" - prunus (plumb) blossom, pine tree and bamboo - and also a single bat. This item was made in Yixing, Zhejiang province, China during the Republic period (1911-1949). The maker's or shop seal mark inside the cover reads "Rong Ji"; the elaborate seal mark on the base reads "Fu Kang Ying Kou". Ying Kou is a town in Liao Ning province, north east China. Condition: very good - there are no damages other than a minute chip to the cover (please view enlargement 7) . There has been no restoration. 16.5cm (6.5inches) long; 9cm (3.5inches) high. 品相：很好。壶盖口沿有一处极小的磕口（见图），除此之外，无其他损伤。无修复。

A Ruskin pottery vase by William Howson Taylor typically copying a Chinese Song dynasty shape. It has a purplish pink lustre "souffle" glaze and on the base is the impressed date 1931. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 11cm (4.3 inches) high.

An early 20th Century ostrich feather ladies fan with twenty faux tortoiseshell (plastic) sticks. This item was made in the first half of the 20th Century, probably circa 1920-1940. Condition: excellent, probably unused - some of the sticks still have their original tissue paper wraps. 38cm (15inches) across when extended.

A rare carved Sepik River Mask decorated with mud embedded cowrie shells and human hair. This item is 'old' by Papua New Guinea standards having been made pre 1970.
