Ca 1940 An early sterling bracelet by Jensen USA designer, Laurence Foss. Lovely patina.Marked with the Foss logo, Sterling 116. 7-1/2" x 1/2" ~30.8gr.

A solid sterling bracelet with applied flowers by Laurence Foss. Marked Sterling 659 with the Foss mark. It measures 7" x 1/2" and weighs 33.7gr. Please see a matching pin( #1438176).

Ca 1940 A heavy, solid sterling choker and bracelet by Jensen USA designer, Laurence Foss( 1920-2014). It features hand applied, raised sterling leaves with beading. The choker weighs 63 grams, is approximately 16" in length and just shy of 1/2" in width. Both the bracelet and choker are marked with the LF logo, sterling, 450. The bracelet weighs 29 grams and is 7"x 1/2".

A chromo-lithograph by G. Dianz (?) and copyrighted by F. DeMauro 23 Duane St. New York.The picture is slightly curled on the lower edge but covered by the frame. Framed under glass, the frame measures 18" x 21-1/2".

Program listing the 150 films shown at the Centre Georges Pompidou between May 4 through October 1988. Brief synopsis, B + W movie photos, actors noted. Stain on the lower front cover otherwise in good condition. Paperback written in French.

Published in 1977 by Barron's,Woodbury, NY... an illustrated hard cover with dustjacket. The jacket shows light wear, and there is some tanning along the border however the book itself is fine. No script. 102 pps.

Here is a companion piece to our other listing by M. Gibert. The title is evident and it is signed in the lower right corner. The frame also shows some wear and measures 18" x 15-7/8".

Taylor Publishing 1992.The cover shows light wear, the price is clipped and there is an inscription on the front free paper. The book itself is in mint condition.

One of a kind gypsy outfit with a long, colorful chiffon skirt, matching taffeta slip and a small bustier encrusted with sequins and stones.Made in the early '80's by a New York seamstress who designed for Las Vegas showgirls.The waistbands on both the slip and skirt need to be replaced since they have stretched.

Ca 1960 A textured gold leaf set that includes necklace, earrings (screwbacks), bracelet and brooch. The chain is gold filled but is not original to the piece (signed by DeCurtis). Loran Sim was a Providence jewelry manufacturer active during the 50's & 60's.All items are marked Loran Sim 1/20 12k gf.

An exceptional gilt filigree scarab bracelet marked on the box clasp LORAN SIM. The company was in production during the 50's-60's in Providence, RI. One link is attached to the filigree by a small thread.(It's very hard to discern, though one may want to have a jeweler resolder it.See photo with blue scarab.)Please refer to the carnelian scarab for internal cracks. The real stone scarabs measure 3/4" x 5/8"; the bracelet 7.5" x 1".

Here is a solid, well crafted sterling bracelet with greens stones(perhaps turquoise but probably chrysocolla- not tested). With partially obliterated marks, it appears to be 950 sterling. The clasp is a bit tricky - it snaps shut, but to open, one needs to press down on the turquoise cab while pressing the bottom of the box clasp to release the locking mechanism.Measuring 8" x 3/4", it weighs a hefty 84grams.

This is a real favorite of mine. A signed photograph of Rhode Island Reds Hockey team general manager, Lou Pieri(1897-1967). The inscription in ball point pen is a bit indistinct but reads " The Best RI Reds Team Ever Lou Pieri". I'm assuming these are the wives of the players. Pieri was an American basketball and ice hockey executive and coach( see Wikipedia for further information). The 8X10 B&W photo has some creasing and minor wear at the bottom and top edge; the frame shows some wear.

Published in 1990 by LUCORAL. Hard cover catalogue with dust jacket featuring the 1989-1990 collection. The company was formed 1963 by Ching-Shui Lu, Chairman of the Taiwan Pescadores Fisherman's Association. Jade, pearls, coral and other various gemstones, cloisonne items and watches are pictured along with costume jewelry. The book is in good condition, just the board edges show wear; however, the dust jacket has some small tears. Original price $88 (USD). 119 pgs.

This is the French edition published in 1931 by Calmann-Levy. The red boards show signs of wear on the edges and the pages have yellowed. A name is written in blue crayon or pencil on the front endpaper otherwise unmarked.

An antique book published in 1898 by Velhagen & Klasing, Verlag. The tan linen boards feature embossed black and gold gilding. There is a tiny tear on the title page and the end papers are missing. Possibly an eighth edition, the text is in German.

A smaller version of the iconic brutalist bracelet designed by Matti Hyvarinen for Sirokoro. It measures 7" x 1/2" (width) and weighs 35 grams. Marked MJH 925 U7(1973) along with a mark for Turku.

Here is a compelling full page ad that was featured in the New York Times, May 10, 1970. "Finally Your Senator Can Vote to End the War. Angry Americans. Saddened Americans....Your kids shouldn't go to college to get killed... Support the peace amendment sponsored by McGovern, Hatfield, Goodell Cranston & Hughes." Paper has yellowed and is folded and the names of senators who supported the amendment have been underlined in ink.

Ca 1960 A fabulous wide sterling cuff by Francisco Rebajes featuring a smooth gray banded agate stone encased in twisted wire. Marked Rebajes Sterling in one corner where there is a very slight/minor curl. There is also some light spotting and minor wear appropriate for its age. Please disregard the line showing up to the right of the stone. Width is 2-1/4"~ inner diameter 2-1/8". The stone measures 2" x 1-1/8".

This is probably an Italian cigarette box. Marked 900 along with another indistinct mark. It would benefit from a polishing. 7-1/4 x 3-1/2"

Published in 1925 by the Government Printing Office, Washington, here is a rare copy of memorial addresses given to the 68th Congress.The black silk boards show modest wear with some light smudging. The book is a tad musty otherwise in fine condition. 44pp.

Messengers of Modernism~American Studio Jewelry (1940-1960). Hard cover with dustjacket in pristine condition.

Possibly a first edition- cloth-bound hard cover ( no jacket) published in 1946 by the American Artists Group. Includes nine color plates by various artists along with 35 illustrations. The cover shows some wear on the edges, with a smudge and bump on the front.The end papers have yellowed- otherwise fine. 76pp.

Ca 1950 Arts and Crafts style candlesticks marked Hecho en Mexico. The base on one has two small bumps. 3-3/4" x 2-1/4"

A Martin Gordon Inc. soft cover catalog for the auction held at the Hotel St. Moritz (NYC) on May 9 & 10, 1977. Black and white photos feature almost all of the 1152 lots of Fine 16th thru 20thC Prints, Vintage Photographs, Print and Photographic Reference Books. The cover(front and back) shows light wear and there is a small tear at the top of the back cover, otherwise in good condition. Artists: Baron De Meyer, Atget, Curtis, Roussel,Hassam,Picasso,Matisse etc...

Published in 2007 by the Institute, this heavy soft cover edition features some 300 works of art in full color. Like new. 328pp.

A mid-century, solid oblong bangle with niello marked Janiye Sterling. In vintage condition with light scratches. Inner diameter measures 2-5/8" x 2-1/8"~ width 3/8"~ 47.8 gr.

A heavy silver cuff by Otto Bade marked ORB Sterling. The ends show some wear with spotting. Sold as is.

An unsigned silver necklace with hematite beads. Given the design, it measures 16" plus a bit more.

A catalog written by William Ezelle Jones and published in 1977 by the Los Angeles County Museum. The cover shows minor paper loss at the edges and there is a pen mark on the back free paper otherwise the book is fine. Forty four examples featured in B&W or colored photos. Hallmarks included...122pp

A rare softcover published in December 1, 1952 by the US Department of Justice Office of Alien Properties.Signed by the researcher along with a dedication note.There are more than 4000 movies listed along with the type of film ( documentary, feature, military etc.) as well as the producer. The paper cover has a small tear at the spine otherwise in fine condition.96pp.
