An Oude Loosdrecht porcelain soup plate with an off-center bouquet in the bowl, scattered flowers and a molded lip picked out in blue. The gilt rim is slightly shaped. Marked on the bottom in underglaze blue with the initials M.O.L. and incised with numbers, letters and a star. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter.

Condition: A fairly substantial chip to the rim on one side and a small under the rim chip on the other. Stack wear, especially around the border between the lip and the bowl. The gilding...

An oversized plate (10 ½ inches (26.7 cm) diameter) with a hand painted bouquet of petunias in the center, surrounded by a thick gilt band and the elaborately molded lip with the molding picked out in gold. The printed blue KPM mark on the bottom was used during the years 1847 to 1849. There is also an incised Roman numeral four and possibly the number 14. It was probably used as a serving plate for pastry or cake.

A molded Chinese porcelain bowl decorated with a dark powder blue ground, extensive gilding and on each side within the molded recessed panels an elaborate bouquet of flowers. The inspiration for the flowers is Meissen or some other German porcelain manufacturer, but the gilding, the dark blue ground and the porcelain make it definitely Chinese from before 1800. The underside marked with an accession number. It is removable. 2 ¼ inches (5.7cm) tall and 4 ¼ inches (10.8 cm) diameter.

A blue and white parian pitcher with raised oak leaves and acorns and a “branch” handle and spout. The oak portions in white against a textured blue painted ground. Marked on the underside with the U.S. Pottery Company ribbon mark with “No. 16.” and the number 12. This mark used in the 1850’s. 8 5/8 inches tall and 6 ¾ inches across handle and spout.

Condition: no chips or repairs, but a crack in the base of the handle.

A porcelain plate decorated with floral sprigs and bouquets with a shaped rim decorated with gilt dentil edge marked on the underside with a “B” in underglaze blue. 9 inch (23 cm) diameter. This short lived porcelain factory, roughly 1776-1781, had the Duc d’Orleans (cousin of the King Louis XVI) as its patron.

An oval English porcelain sugar bowl with the lid and body decorated with blue and magenta bell flowers growing out of gilt plants. The flowers circle both the lid and the body, which has molded ring handles (not working) at the end of the long sides. The knop on the lid is elaborately gilt. A pair of globular small electric bedside lamps decorated with roses hand painted by Joseph Nekola Junior and sold by Plitchta, London. Joseph, the son of Karel Nekola an original decorator at Weymss, was taught by his father to paint the well know roses. After the original factory at Weymss closed the Bovey Pottery in Devon continued to make, “Weymss Ware” with Joseph the decorator and trainer of apprentices. Plitchta was a wholesaler and exporter.
