An amethyst snuff bottle in pebble shape, the outside carved in relief with birds among twigs. Moderately hollowed. The stopper en suite, in the form of a bird, spoon made of bone. Condition: few rough areas and tiny chips. Dimension: 7.2 cm high.

Porcelain wall pocket modelled as a recumbent court official, decorated in famille rose enamels. Condition: excellent. Dimension: 17.4 cm long x 6.8 cm high, weight: 342 g.

Composite panel of antique embroideries from the Ottoman Empire, made into a rectangular shaped woman’s prayer cloth indicating qibla, the direction of prayer. The basic fabrics are different plain weaves, embroidered with silk and metal wrapped threads, composed and sewn together in the Ottoman city of Salonika or Kavala. A rare Kashmir teapot with hinged lid standing on three small feet. The metal base, here copper or bronze, was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and shiny gilding. This technique is called in India "meena" or "meenakari" and was first applied by the Mughal. With a small handwritten note explaining its provenance. Dimension: 20.8 cm long, 14 cm high, weight: 688 g.

Silver cocktail shaker with strainer and detachable cap. Embossed decoration of a dragon and a round cartouche with monogram on a shagreen simulating ground. Base marked "Nanking", mark of the Nanking Silver Store in Shanghai. Condition: the cap with one, the foot and beaker's rim with small dents. Dimension: 26.2 cm high, diameter: 10.7 cm, weight: 406 g.

An antique walking cane or parasol handle. Made of silver decorated with two dragons chasing the flaming pearl among clouds. Top with monogram. Unmarked, tested silver. Condition: top slightly dented. Dimension: total length: 30.6 cm.

A high quality cloisonne vase dating from the Meiji period. Design of ho-o birds among clouds on a green speckled ground. The shoulder with flowers on a black spiral ground. Bottom, rim and wires are gilt. With wood stand. Condition: rim with a small dent (see picture No. 6). Small area with only under the magnifying glass visible imperfections. Dimension: 12.1 cm high. Same shape and close design to item# 1174589.

Influenced by the Chinese Transitional porcelain this dish shows in the center a bridge with a farmer and two cows. On the back a single spur mark. Condition: fine, little wear, foot rim with a small loss (production flaw). Dimension: diameter: 21.3 cm, weight: 396 g. Without wooden stand.

A pair of shoes with leather sole for a Manchurian lady. The cream colored silk embroidered and appliqued with black silk. Blue cotton lining. The toecap bolstered with leather. Condition: little patina. Dimension: 24.5 cm long.

A punch dagger with tapering double edged steel blade, each face decorated with a four-armed deity. Straight handle with double-grip, decorated on the side with flowers. Sheath made of wood with velvet lining. Condition: tip slightly chipped, sheath with losses. Some flash rust. Dimension: 44.6 cm long, 7.4 cm wide.

A silver basket with handle, with design of birds and plum blossoms in open-work. Base with two maker's mark in Chinese. Condition: few traces of usage. Dimension: 13.5 cm long, height: c. 11 cm, weight: 108 g.

Elegant silver cigarette case, the lid decorated with bamboo. Inside marked "Tackhing", "90% silver" and a Chinese character mark. This silversmith was active between the late 19th century and early 20th century in Hong Kong. With original blue silk lined paper box, the lid with glass. Condition: few traces of usage, glass with breakage. Dimension: 8.2 cm x 11.7 cm, weight: 128 g.

A pair of small Satsuma earthenware vases. Painted and gilt with panels depicting processional figures between different patterns in gold on cobalt-blue ground. Base signed Satsuma and Hotoda. Condition: few gilt rubbing. Dimension: 12.4 cm high, weight: 404 g.

A silver jam jar standing on three ball feet with handle and glass insert. Beautifully decorated with plum blossom and bird in relief. With maker's mark "SF" standing for Sing Fat, who worked in the early 20th century in Canton, a Chinese character mark and "90". Condition: few traces of usage, insert with rim frittings. Dimension: diameter: 9.8 cm, weight: 164 g.

Assorted group of Japanese black lacquer tea bowls and saucers for the export. Each decorated in gold with different designs. Four saucers, six small cups and one larger bowl. Condition: rims with little lacquer loss, one bowl with foot rim chip. Dimension: saucers: 11.2 cm diameter. Bowls: 5.9 cm and 6.6 cm diameter. Without wooden stands.

A small belt hook carved from pale celadon colored jade with white and grayish mottling. One side ending in a dragonhead with bulging eyes, the underside with an oval disk for attachment. Condition: one eye chipped. Dimension: 7.1 cm long, weight: 30 g.

Rectangular photo or picture frame decorated with Sadeli micro mosaic in bone, metal and different woods. Old glass. Condition: very few missing inlays, one clip lost. Dimension: 22.5 cm x 14.6 cm, image: 15.8 cm x 10.1 cm.
