Brooch and cufflinks, a set of ceramic jewelry, c 1960, by Brondsted /Bröndsted, Denmark, the shade of the glaze an intense red to orange, speckled. Impressed marks. Width of cufflinks "1/ 2.5 cm and of brooch "1 2/3/ 4.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A large silver filigree star-shaped pin, 1960s. Marked Sterling Norway and makers mark LJH for Leif J Hansen who worked in the town of Bergen, Norway 1948-77. Diameter "2/ 4.8 cm. Condition: fine.

A pair of Scotty dog cufflinks, English, from around 1930. The small terriers are protected with celluloid. Width " ¾ / 1.8 cm, marked Gilt to the back. Condition: some age wear.

Beautiful Charleston era flapper necklace / sautoir made of iridescent blue and gold seed pearls. Length appr. "19 / 48 cm (x2). Condition: fine.

Sterling silver pendant with a large rock crystal, by Finnish designer Salovaara. Designer’s mark for Salovaara: an ice bear, 925, A for the city of Abo (Finnish: Turku) where Salovaara had his workshop and U7 = year mark for 1972. The back of the loop with the mark for import to Sweden (three crowns in an oval an S). To the underside there is an engraved date, probably for the time of presentation to a former owner...

Silver tie clip with the Hopi figure of Kokopelli, a fertility deity. Made of two silver plaques; one cut through, the other engraved and oxidized. Engraved cipher mark of the native American Indian silversmith, and stamped mark Bennett Pat. Pend. C-31. Bennet was the inventor of this tie fitting mechanism. Height "1 ½ / 4 cm.

Elegant silver filigree brooch, a Norwegian solje. Less exuberant in style than most filigree solje brooches, without any enamel or gilt - just two shimmering roundels and the traditional chains holding the little pendant ornaments. Silver standard mark 830S and the pin hook with the three crowns of the Swedish hallmark – the brooch was made around 1900 when Sweden and Norway were united (the union was dissolved in 1905). Width "1 ½ / 3.7 and height "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Silver pendant and chain by Karl Laine, Finnfeelings, one of his Spider Web designs from around 1970. Mark for Finnfeelings, 925H, A for the town of Åbo / Turku, T7 for 1972 and Swedish import mark (three crowns and S). Diameter "1 2/5 / 3.3 cm, length of chain "24 ½ / 62 cm. Condition: fine.

A massive silver ring by Antonio Belgiorno, Buenos Aires, c 1940-50. The geometric design and the use of oxidizing is typical of Belgiorno, who is one of Argentina’s most well known artists in silver. A solid piece of jewelry that really makes a statement. Marked A Belgiorno, Industria Argentina T27 and 900. Open and adjustable, the inner diameter at present 18 mm which corresponds to size 6 ½. Condition: fine.

Ceramic clip earrings, each with a sunflower in yellow and white glossy glaze on black matted ground, c 1960. By Astrid Tjalk, Fyrbo, Denmark. Unsigned. Width "3/4/ 2 cm. Condition: fine.

Suprematist or Constructivist style stick pin: geometric design of a bar and a circle in black and teal plastic, unsigned, 1920s. Length "1 ¼ / 3.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Silver gilt filigree and enamel brooch by Topazio, depicting a lovely Portuguese lady with a basket of grapes. Figures in elegantly traditional dress are found in many of Topazio’s pieces from the 1920’s and 30’s. The chains fixed to the pin makes the brooch move, and so draws attention to its wearer. Dragon brooch in the Viking style, the fable animal copied from the superbly elegant 12th century wood carvings on the portal of Urnes stave church in Norway, now on the Unesco World Heritage list. Sterling silver with marks 925, NM under crown for the National Museum and Copy. Height including the small (and movable) handle "2/ 5.3 cm. Condition: fine.

Victorian gold pendant, carefully wrought to resemble a gnarled piece of wood - an example of the naturalistic style often seen in jewelry of the 1860's and 70's. With impressed 14K mark and probably made in England. Height (without the hoop) "1 ½ / 4.1 cm, weight 5.8 grams. The black velvet ribbon on the photos is included in the price. Condition: fine.
