Copper luster and blue mustard pot, a footed salt and small dish, and a copper lustre and green pepper. All made around 1840-50, early Victorian Staffordshire lusterware. Height of pepper "4 ¾/ 12 cm, diameter of salt "3 ½/ 8.7 cm and of dish "5/ 12.8 cm. Condition: nick to the mustard pot lid.

An interesting 18th century pewter plate, the border with an engraved motto, Suum cuique, written on a ribbon above an open book resting on a diagonally striped bar. As presented on this plate this is the crest and motto for the Scottish Clan Don. It is a Latin phrase meaning “to everybody his/her own”, historically used in freemasonry and in legal contexts, like serving as motto for the faculty of law at universities. A pretty leaf shaped serving dish by Royal Copenhagen. Panted decoration of flowers, the twig handle with a rose and a forget-me-not flower in relief – the same as the handles used in the famous Flora Danica service. Impressed mark 2 and S, and the three waves of the manufacture in the version used around 1890. Length "7 1/5 / 18.5 cm. Condition: damage to the petals of the little forget-me-not flower.

Charmingly kitschy majolica figurines, a pair of musicians by Ditmar Urbach, c 1930. An accordionist and a flutist, in Robin Hood-like attire. Height "9½/ 24 cm. Printed mark Ditmar Urbach Made in Germany, impressed model numbers 14257 and 142 58. The mark was in use before the confiscation of the factory in 1938 . Condition: a nick to the hand of one musician and repair to the hat of the other, and to the feet of both (cf. photos).
