A Finely Molded Floral Celadon Bowl: Korea, Koryo period, 12th century, This is a deep bowl sharply tapering to a raised ring foot, molded with a design of large scrolling peony blossoms and leaves, the exterior undecorated with light yellowish celadon glaze, beneath a rich crackled and clear celadon glaze, the glaze extending to the base which has three spur marks. It’s in fine condition with a tiny gold repaired on the mouth rim. Measures 7 ½” x 3 ¼”.
