A very rare and unusual gilded Burmese table with floral designs and glass inlaid on three sides., most likely used in a temple. Age: Early 20th century. Size: L.77cm. W. 55cm. H. 73cm. Condition: No repairs. Normal wear.

A very rare round, domed ceramic chop ink container with paintings of "a hundred boys." The background is off-white with the paintings of the rotund little boys at play in cobalt blue. The surface is heavily crazed. Kangxi seal mark.

A Ming statue of Quanyin glazed in cream, green and ochre glazes (san-ts'ai). The Guanyin is seated on a rock formation with lotus flowers above a rectangular pedestal. Formerly she was flanked by two disciples - there is one remaining but missing and the other is missing its head and hands. A very rare necklace of 78 glass beads (green, blue-green, opaque white & translucent). Five (5) of the largest beads have a dark caramel colored glass streaked/looped design. Period: Han Dynasty Size: Length = 20 inches (51 cm.) Condition: The glass beads have iridescence (seen under magnification) and some calcification due to long period of burial. Can be cleaned.

A Rare Han Dynasty large oval glass bead in shades of very pale blue to dark sky blue. Most of the front side of the bead has developed an intriguing beige patina. There are bi-toned (dark green & light blue) curvey line designs which are imbedded in the glass surface. The light blue line is now iridescent with age. The bead has two holes in the center for stringing.

Very rare lacquered original Han ear cup with a surface decorated in red and black lacquer in scrolling patterns and abstract motifs painted on the ears. Size: L. 20cm. W. 15.5cm. H. 6cm. Condition: No repairs. the outside bottom of the cup is missing. See last photos. It is interesting to see that the cup is hollow inside and not one solid piece.

A well done rare large carving of a stone sitting Han dog or lion. This stone dog was must probably used as a tomb guardian. Very Heavy. Size:H. 42cm -16.5 inches

)Rare Pottery water dropper (scholar's object) in the form of a three-legged frog. The frog has a sansai glaze of a basic straw-colored glaze with drippings of yellow and green glazes. This water dropper was made with a hole in its back for placing the thumb to regulate the flow of water from its mouth. In Chinese mythology the three-legged frog usually lives on the moon and brings good fortune.

A very rare white porcelain Song qingpai ewer with a clear pale bluish glaze. The body and shoulder of the vase have skillfully executed free-flowing scraffiato designs of florals and leaves. The tall cylindrical neck is encircled at the base by two horned dragons whose heads meet at the spout. The grooved loop handle is further decorated with eight small balls. A very rare sancai original, three color, glazed Tang duck cup probably used for drinking rice wine. Three colors with some blue cobalt. A beautiful rare etched paitong basin depicting court ladies playing chess in the center. Around the inside of the basin there are scenes of scholars, artists, falconer etc. Around the inside edge is etched the "shou" characters representing good luck and fortune. Size: Diameter: 42.5cm.
