The plate is hand painted in raised, metallic enamels. Two birds are perched on branches of gold and platinum cherry blossoms. The center of the plate is painted in celeste blue. This porcelain plate was produced in England by Mintons in the late 19th century. The date markings are obscured so it is not possible to specify the year. It is signed by the renowned artist, Antonin Boullimier, trained at the Sevres Porcelain Manufactory. The plate is 9 ½” in diameter. The blank is made of fine, white bone china with a reticulated border. The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of a sweet girl, sitting on a log, dangling her feet over a lily pond. Flowers fill the background and a butterfly attracts her attention. The painting is beautifully detailed and colored in soft tones. There is a border of elegant, raised gilding. The reticulation around the edge is outlined in raised gold. The plate is representative of some the highest quality porcelain Mintons created in the Victorian era. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1860s. It is first quality and has the under-glaze crossed swords marking. The plate has a diameter of 10 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. It has an elaborate reticulated border that extends 1 1/2 inches into the plate. The center of the plate has a cobalt blue ground. There is a reserve hand painted with peasant women and a sheep in a detailed landscape. The reserve is framed by an ornate gilded cartouche. There are tiny raised rosettes that are colored blue or gold within the reticulated design. There are areas of elaborate gilding and the back of the plate is gilded as well. This plate exemplifies the exquisite artistry and workmanship the Meissen name represents. Condition: Excellent

This pair of porcelain and ormolu bronze mounts was produced in France in the 1860s or 1870s. They measure 16 inches tall and are 7 1/2 inches across the figural handles. The ground color is celeste blue. The bronze bases are ornate and very Victorian. The lion's paw feet connect with elaborate scrolls. The handles have putti playing musical instruments. Hand painted panels of young lovers strolling in country landscapes are portrayed in fine detail and soft coloring. They are framed in elaborate tooled gold cartouches. The backs of the vases have panels with bouquets of colorful flowers. We are fortunate to be able to offer a matched pair of these wonderful vases. They weigh 8 pounds each unwrapped. The pair measure 9 1/2” tall and are 4 1/2” in diameter at their widest point. The vases are hand painted with Weatteau scenes on the front and landscapes on the back. The painting is finely detailed and brightly colored. There are sprays of flowers on the sides. The neck and bottom have a wine colored border with a fine pattern similar to fish scale. These borders are accented with ornate, raised gilding. It is fortunate that these were preserved as a pair. They will give a lovely touch of France to any interior.

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in France by Paul Blot, Maison Jacquel, at rue del la Pais, Paris. Both have hand painted signatures. They are 7 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches at the widest point. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The ground color is creamy beige. The vases are exquisitely hand painted. The front and back of each vase has bouquets of vibrant pink roses. Blossoms are budding and in full bloom. They are accented with blue feather-like plumes and vines. The tray measures 9 1/2 inches long and 5 3/4 inches wide. The cup has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is decorated with a factory transfer that is hand colored and has enamel accents. There is a garland of muted pink flowers and gray foliage and branches encircling each piece.
