A pair of octagonal dessert plates by Copeland, the edges dented and gilt. Japanised, “Aesthetic” decoration of brambles or blackberries, transfer printed and hand painted with some gilt over part of the withered leaves and berries. Diameter "9/ 22.8 cm. The back with the impressed curved mark used by Copeland from 1860 to 1880, and N80, probably for November 1880. Condition: fine.

Demitasse black and white coffee can and saucer by Bodley & Co in Staffordshire, c 1870. The pattern, numbered 3438, is of various whimsical silhouetted scenes – a charging officer and fusiliers, firefighting, dueling with walking sticks, an arguing couple, a fat guardsman etc. Impressed mark Bodley. The deep well of the saucer makes the ensemble into a “trembleuse” – a design that made it easier to move the cup from one place in the room to another...

Authentic antique, Russian (The Grand Duchy of Moscow), a rare version of the Orthodox Byzantine double-sided cast bronze pectoral cross pendant, circa 15th- 16th century AD. The obverse, cast in relief, has the image of Christ crucified on the cross; under the arms are letters of the Greek alphabet, OV and MP, an abbreviation of the Greek Mater Theos (Mother of God)...

Offered is a lovely pair of late 18th Century, just after Dr. Wall Period, Worcester blue and white porcelain teabowls, in the Argument pattern. One teabowl has a small chip to the interior rim and a corresponding even smaller nibble on the outside in the same spot. The other teabowl appears to be free of damage, and has a crisper design as well. These are quite lovely. Each is graced with a Worcester mark of a number hidden within a design to appear vaguely Chinese...

Cream cup, a pot de creme with molded borders and cherry knob, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white, made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Decoration of under-glaze blue flowers in the Ronda pattern. Ronda was the most popular of the Tournai patterns, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory was closed down. Under-glaze blue mark, swords and three little crosses for the second and third Tournai period. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: fine.

This 3 piece porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. The plate is 7 1/2 inches in diameter, the saucer is 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 3 1/8 inches. The fluted porcelain blanks were made in Bohemia by Ohme. The porcelain is highly translucent, delicate and scalloped on the edges. These Old Paris vases are a visual treat, brimming with optimism and the charms of 19th century simplicities.

The pink ground of the body is sharply contrasted with the classic black foot with gold banding. Each vase has a complementary hand painted reserve of courting lovebirds framed in rich gilding. The opposite panel features very loosely painted objects including a beribboned mandolin against a leafy spray.

Diameter 8 2/3 " / 22 cm, height 1 1/3 "/ 3.3 cm. Condition: two hairlines and an old repair with rivets (= without any adhesives or other additions).

A marvelous pair of Dresden or Old Paris porcelain candlesticks with carefully painted cherubs holding to each nozzle while upholding while perched on stumps. The winged characters are draped with modesty scarves which swirl around the sticks. The quatrefoil bases are embellished with gold and encrusted with pink flowers.

A mulberry transfer English Staffordshire plate in the Athens pattern by William Adams & Sons made c. 1850. The inking is crisp and sharp, even on the backside as evidenced by the clear registry mark. The shape has 14 edges. Adams was one of the longest lived potters in England, operating as late as the 1990s.

Lovely pair of Italian Porcelain Capo di Monte amphoras. The exquisite scenaries are painted by hand.The seal is located at the bottom of each amphora. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" seal above the crown.

Magnificent large French amphora. The finely detailed enamel scenary was made utilizing "petit poi" method. The ornate base is made of bronze.

Hexagonal box nicely decorated along the borders of the box. The top of the box displays a fine representation of St. Peter's square in Vatican City crafted with Venetian mosaics. Very nice Chinese export porcelain tea pot in Canton decoration. The slightly tapered drum-shaped body is decorated with typical Canton scenes of islands, bridges, boats, etc. and is accented with a raincloud border along the top edge. The lid, spout and handle are also decorated with typical motifs. The color is very nice with terrific clarity and depth. Likewise, the body is of nice color.

A large Dresden Porcelain Ewer by Sitzendorf (Thuringia, Germany). It is heavily decorated with puttis and weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz. and measures 15" high x 7" wide. It dates from 1887-1896. There is a slight chip on the hoof below the lip of the ewer, otherwise in excellent condition.

A Hand Painted Bavarian chocolate set for the Late 19th century.Consists of a Chocolate of Coffee Pot (9.5") and Six Cups (3.25". The Design Consists of Hand Painted Florals. There are a few small wear spots on the bottom edge of the cups, but otherwise it is excellent condition.

We believe that is is a Royal Rudolstadt Urn, despite the lack of a mark. It is decorated with florals, with a gilt handle and sits on a pedestal base. It is 13" high and it is in excellent condition. Late 19th century.

The large ivory basketweave bowl with delicate applied flowers is supported by beautifully modeled figures of a boy and girl in pastel drape.
