These 5 ceramic cups and saucers were produced in France by Creil, c.1820. The factory was founded in 1797 and continues today. The Victoria & Albert Museum has examples of Creil cream ware on exhibit. The saucers measure 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. They would be a coffee size. The cups are 2 1/4 inches high. They have an ivory hue to the ceramic. They are decorated with factory transfers in black creating a striking contrast...

A superb transfer printed blue and white Staffordshire soup dish in the "Birds and Fruit" pattern. Unmarked but attributed to John Hall & Sons, Burslem, England. The central scene features two birds amidst a panoply of fruit, including pears, strawberries, blackberries, grapes, etc. The cavetto and wide rim has a border of flowers and foliage.

A fine John/Jane Pennington Liverpool porcelain creamer of helmet form painted in blue with a bird and floral motif. The elaborate handle and the leaf-molded lower half of the body add to the appeal of this charming piece.

This porcelain plate was produced in France by the Boyer studio at Rue de la Paise between 1817 and 1834. There is a coat of arms with a Latin motto in the border. It reads, “Vel Arte, Vel Marte” or “Or Skill or Initiative”. The plate measures 10” in diameter. The hand painted scene shows a noble hunting party on horseback, accompanied by packs of dogs, chasing a deer. A German 1820's cabinet cup and saucer with burnished and matte gilt decoration of Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s new theater building in Berlin, inaugurated in 1821 and nowadays concert hall. A Ridgway Salt Glaze Relief Molded Stoneware Pitcher; Signed in Imprint "Published by W Ridgway & Co. Hanley October 1, 1835". There is a Pewter Lid on the Beige Body, with the Figures Telling the Story of Tam O'Shanter, from the Robert Burns (1759-1796) poem. I Shows a pub scene to one side, and an equestrian scene to the other. Dimensions; 9" high. Height 9 inches. The pitcher is in excellent condition, but the pewter lid is loose, but not damaged.

An oval English porcelain sugar bowl with the lid and body decorated with blue and magenta bell flowers growing out of gilt plants. The flowers circle both the lid and the body, which has molded ring handles (not working) at the end of the long sides. The knop on the lid is elaborately gilt. Unmarked, but certainly English and from the first quarter of the 19th century. 6 inches tall by 6 inches long by 5 inches wide.
