Twelve(12) Haviland Limoges Gold Rim Soup Plate, Ca. 1920, 9 1/4" diameter, 1 1/2" high, encrusted Gold Rim, marked "Haviland France" in green and "Rich & Fisher 467 Fifth Ave New York" in red. One small chip under the gold rim, only shows from under, not from top.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in France around 1810. There are no markings on either of the pieces. It could have been made by one of the numerous porcelain manufacturers in the Paris vicinity at that period. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 3 3/8 inches high, excluding the handle. The porcelain is heavy and substantial. The decoration is hand painted. Stylized ornaments, including a cornucopia and swans, decorate the sides of the cup...

Unusual antique French Limoges gold trimmed porcelain oyster plate depicting different sea grasses. In excellent condition, it measures 9.5" diameter.

NOTE: A very interesting technique was used to create the effect of underwater movement. They 1st printed the image in light green, then printed the same image in dark pink over it, but slightly offset. Where the images overlapped, it created a 3rd color, brown, which establishes the main part of the plant.

A nicely decorated flaring oval fruit or chestnut basket with openwork sides and handles at either end. The red stencil mark on the base of an “A” with a crown is that of the factory at the Rue Thiroux under Marie Antoinette’s protection. It is decorated with sprigs on the bottom of the inside, dots at the intersection of the open weave sides, stripes of red and blue alternating with white on the base, a blue line around the handle and a gilt rim with dentil gilding on the outside edge...

This porcelain perfume bottle with stopper was produced in France in the mid 19th century. It has some impressed letters and numbers but they are not legible. The style of the gilding and the lady’s dress are typical of the mid 19th century and so this would be considered “Paris Porcelain.” It is similar to porcelain produced by Sevres. The porcelain is very fine and thin. The ground color is rich cobalt blue...

A very well hand painted on porcelain dessert plate depicting blackberries with leaves and canes in the well of the plate. A thin band of black and gilt marks the edge of the lip which is decorated with a shaped band of grey, separated from a band of maroon band by thin lines of black and white separated by a slightly thicker band of textured gilding. Six footed little cups, tasses à glace / sorbet or ice cream cups in the model used by Sèvres from c 1750 up till around 1800. Because of their sparse decoration the cups go well with more richly decorated porcelain. Slight variation in the gilt and molding of the handles, and in height: four of the cups "2 ½ / 6.3 cm and two 6.5 cm. All probably from around 1780. Marks: LL interlaced - four in over-glaze blue, one in red under crown and with LF and one in gold with HP...

This exquisite hand painted porcelain center bowl set on a dramatic matching dark green and 22K gold porcelain stand is a spectacular showpiece. The center bowl doubles as a punch bowl and the matching 12 footed goblets can be used separately as sherbet cups. The bowl and cups feature grapes, vines, and leaves hand painted in gorgeous rich tones of greens, purples and magenta on a pastel background. 4 Clingnancourt hard paste porcelain dinner plates with shaped edge, an elaborate gilt rim, a continuous band of hand painted roses and leaves and in the well of the plate rose sprigs. All with the Clignancourt stencil mark in red on the underside. 9 ¾ inches (25 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Minor wear

These 8 porcelain chocolate cups and saucer were produced in France at Sevres around 1810. The saucers have a diameter of 4 7/8 “ and are 1 ½” deep. The cup are 2 7/8” high,without the handle, and have a diameter of 3 1/8”. Each cup has a hand painted portrait of a famous French woman, named on the bottom. They have tooled gold frames and lacy gold accents around the edges...

A porcelain couple representing a noble Lady and a Louis XIII King's Musketeer of the 17th century. Richly enamelled and gilded on hard porcelain. Under the base an incised mark before firing. Faience écritoire / inkwell or desk set, France, c 1800. Unusually bold decoration of flowers in black and blue. The inserts apparently of the period, but not belonging. Width "7 ¼ / 18.5 cm, height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: wear consisting with age.
