R J Morris was born in Staffordshire and is known to have worked as a modeller to more than one porcelain manufacturer. Nice porcelain footed mug with a transfer print entitled "Sands & Railway Station Ramsgate--A Present From Ramsgate". The scene shows the railway station in the background with bathers in the foreground. Queen Victoria lived in Ramsgate for a time before ascending the throne. After the railway came to the shore, Ramsgate became a very popular tourist destination. The rim is decorated with a gilt band.

The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The set is made of fine white bone china. This porcelain chamber stick was produced in the early 19th century. It is unmarked but may have been produced by Coalport. It is 7 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. The fine hard paste porcelain is molded in rococo style and there are three paw feet supporting it. The ground is deep cobalt blue with two reserves. 10 English Crescent & Son China Service Plates, Ca. 1891, 10 1/4" diameter, raised Gold drapes of leafy vines design on Cobalt Blue wide rim, marked on the bottom "England Crescent & Son China","26879", impressed mark "7" above "25",, please check the photographs. The condition is good, some used scratch marks on gold but most of raised gold is in good condition, no chips, no damages.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Spode Copeland in the late 19th century. The saucer has a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The decoration on this set is so elegant. It has red and green enamel jewels along with raised gold beading and decorations. The rims and handle are trimmed with bright, shiny gold. It has the appearance of jewelry. Condition: Excellent

A nice Staffordshire inkwell or quill holder in the form of a recumbent deer. The naive painted decoration almost makes it look as if she's wearing a little black hat. The doe is posed on a white base molded as a rocky outcropping. The base is highlighted with a burnished gilt line.

Origin: England, ca. 1850. Condition: excellent, no damage. Size: 4-3/4" x 2" x 4".

Three plates with orange ground lip, transfer border on the edge of the well and the center hand painted with different complex bouquets of wild flowers. All have the Royal Worcester mark on the bottom with the date of 1877 below. Also, the number 9522/A (?) is written in overglaze enamel. The plates are 9 inches (23 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some gilding wear on the edges and minor scratches.

Eleven(11) English Spode Copeland Porcelain Luncheon Plates, Ca. 1891, 9" diameter, brilliant raised Gold border with Lemon Yellow color wide rim, marked "Spode Copeland"s Chine, England in green and impressed mark along with numbers "R 3716 2" in red on the bottom, in good condition, some gold rubbed off from the old age. The raised Gold decoration is very brilliant and can not show well in the photos. Matching set of Cup and Saucer is listed next listing number.
